During our trip to Astoria we wanted to have a chance to experience some of the local eats and brews while making sure that the restaurants were kid friendly for our 9 and 11 year old. Fort George fit the bill. There are 2 levels with different menus - we chose the lower level for more fish & chips/burgers vs... More

We stumbled upon this restaurant of an afternoon and are so glad we did. This place was one of the highlights of our trip to Oregon. We STILL talk about how good the beer is. I don't like beer. But my husband LOVES craft brew. So, I agreed to share the flight of 13 with him. What a treat! Each... More

The menu is somewhat limited, but the food is good. There are 3 locations with different menus. In the main building, the downstairs Pub has a variety of appetizers, burritos, fish & chips, burgers, sandwiches, various sausages, soup & salad, dessert, and a kids menu. The upstairs Pizza improved their pizza dough quite a bit (thinner) and they are yummy... More

We had a surprise birthday party for my 15 year old daughter upstairs. Everyone was very accommodating. Service was great and the pizza was fantastic. Thank you for creating a fun memorable night.

I ordered the rockfish tacos - now I'm not familiar with rock fish but these were a little too fishy smelling for me. Not very flavorful and I can't say I was that impressed. They had no pilsner and their ipa's were too citrusy for me. Bartender was nice but wish I picked something different on the menu.

We went here for snacks and beer. Every beer we sampled was good, the Vortex chicken wings were tasty, and the service was attentive.

Went here to listen to a band which was excellent. View from top floor bar/dining area is awesome, even at night. Food is delish and if you are into craft beers, selection is great. Sorry I'm not much of a beer drinker but I will usually find a red or pale ale that I like.

I just love the fish and chips at Fort George. I'd never had tuna before, so having them there really blew me away. They also have a great trout dish upstairs. The service is top notch too. Kirsten (I think her name is) is excellent!

We stopped in for a quick bite and a couple of beers on the way to Gearhart. It was great to have the sampler to try beers that are not available outside of the brewery. The IPA's that I tried were excellent. For food I had the seafood chowder which was great. All in all a good spot that I... More

I love a brewery that has a great beer that I could indulge everyday. I am talking about the strawberry blond. OMG, when I lived in Louisiana for a few years a large brewery there made a strawberry beer. I did not think I could find another beer like it here in the northwest. Thank you for the revelation. I... More

Description
There’s always something new to try from the brewery’s rotating taps, including taster trays, pints, and growlers-to-go. The lively public house offers family-friendly dining with made-from-scratch meals using organic, natural, and local ingredients. An upstairs Woodfired Pizza venue was opened in the Summer of '13 and operates all day on Saturdays and Sundays, from 4:30-10pm on Wednesdays-Fridays and is closed Monday and Tuesday. Beautiful views and woodwork. Tours of the 30 barrel production brewery and beer canning line are available Saturdays and Sundays at 1pm and 4pm. Located on the site of the original 1811 settlement of Astoria, the locals lining the bar can get you up to speed on the city’s past, present, and future.
