We had the "Boht Load" which is basically a big steamed seafood platter and a pitcher of beer. It was good and fresh but just really steamed and with a ton of old bay seasoning. Nothing special to report other than it was a lot of food for the price. They ran out of the famous blue claw crabs and... More

Casual restaurant with great crab cakes and other fried and steamed shellfish options. A friend got the dozen small crabs and went to work - he said it was delicious although he would have gone for the larger ones if they were available for more meat per work in-put. Quick service and afforadable.

Located in Locust Point, not far from Fort McHenry, this is one of the best places for crabs in Baltimore. Friendly service and a low-key atmosphere make it easy to get messy and enjoy the crabs coated with Old Bay. And, if you order crabs, you will get messy. There are no plates, just butcher paper, a knife, a mallet,... More

I had this Baltimore institution on my list of restaurants to visit while I'm in Baltimore but had no idea where they were located. Luckily for me I drove right by on my way to Fort McHenry National Monument. So I was set for a dinner stop on my way back. The blues aren't in season yet but I opted... More

While visiting Baltimore, our group stopped in at LP Steamers. This is a small place but the food was very tasty. We started out with the Crab Dip and Soft Pretzels. This appetizer was just great. I ordered the Crab Cake and my wife ordered the fried Scallops. Both entries were very good. We like trying out places that are... More

My son recommended this place and I am so glad we came here. We had crabs, shrimp, lobster tail and of course, crab cakes. All of them were delicious and fresh. And love the home atmosphere.

If you want great steamed (or fried) seafood and love whole MD crabs, this is the place. The clams, crabs, scallops, and shrimp are so fresh and cleaned perfectly. I had all these and the lobster tail and they were all steamed and cooked exactly to the right minute - no rubber, no grit, no slime! If you want to... More

So glad we found this place on TripAdvisor and had dinner during our recent Inner Harbor family long weekend. Nothing fancy, but the seafood is outstanding. They were busy even 8 pm on Saturday night and bring out your food as it is ready. You may have some in you party waiting, but would rather than sitting under a warming... More
