This fantastic Brasserie, located in the historic former headquarters of the first U.S. railroad - The B & O, is totally on track. The decor is inviting. The service is professional yet welcoming. The food is outstanding. I truly recommend that sooner than later you jump on this dinning experience - All Aboard!!!

This is a place to get either a burger or a perfectly cooked branzino. Small but well-priced wine list and great cocktails. The place is understated elegance. Casual but sophisticated. Great service and wonderful food.

The B&O American Brasserie has an inviting atmosphere, friendly staff, and fabulous food and drinks. I was greeted warmly and my server was friendly and gave wonderful recommendations. The house specialty drinks are amazing as well, be sure to try one (or three). The Wagyu tartare was delightful, even the flatbread was amazing.

Came here on a Tuesday evening with a friend for dinner. The non-alcoholic "mother's mule" drink was very tasty and refreshing. I ordered the fried chicken special; the chicken was moist, well seasoned, and came in a huge portion. Usually it comes with potato salad, which they didn't have for whatever reason, but our waitress let me choose another side.... More

Upon arriving to the hotel as a guest, I ventured to the B&O for lunch. Wait staff was most efficient and friendly. I have a good appetite but it was all that I could do to finish a meal of soup, roast beef sandwich and homemade fries - all for $16. Hearty portions, well seasoned and presented AND promptly prepared.... More

We ate breakfast here as it was included in our room rate. The server (Brittany, I think) was very patient with us, considering we were dining with a two year old. Our rate included continental breakfast (fruit, muffin or croissant, coffee/tea/juice) and one of us got the classic breakfast. The service was fast, the presentation lovely, and the food was... Did not eat here but stopped for a nightcap on two occasions while staying at the Hotel Monaco. Bar service very good with engaging staff and unlike many hotel bars, not overpriced. Enjoyed this place.

Thank Scott C

When you inherit a space as magical as the historic former Baltimore & Ohio Railroad headquarters, you've got to do it justice. We kept our building's most stunning architectural features intact while updating the space with contemporary design elements and nostalgic touches, like chairs and table lamps from original B&O dining cars. Our practices are distinctly 21st century, though, from selecting the best local produce at the farmer's market to serving cutting-edge craft cocktails to maintaining a steadfast commitment to sustainable business practices. If only train passengers from the early 1900s had it so good!
