Called in Sunday afternoon to enquire what time food wold be served until, was told until 10pm. We went back at 7.30 but was told kitchen closed. Went back Monday evening decided on sausage & mash, dissapointed that one sausage was all it consisted off. Know as my Mum & Dad are Irish what my dad's opinion of that would... More

I've been there several times for a snack or a beer but this was the first time I went for jazz. It was a Sunday afternoon, which for me is a strange time to go to hear jazz, but I enjoyed the music. There were only a few people. I had a couple of beers which were okay. I also... More

First, the bar selection - amazing! Beers and ales, of course. They continue with a good selection of wines, liquors, and local mead. Then there's the food - which is fresh, flavorful, and comes in generous portions. These two factors are enough, but Liam's goes further. You are never under the impression you are in one of the various homogenized... More

Stopped in here after a long day of travel at almost 10pm. I ordered a scotch egg and kale Waldorf salad, 10 minutes before the kitchen closed. So I was not expecting their best. But the Busted knuckle IPA was really good and when the food arrived it was fresh, delicious and beautiful. They had a band there and the... More

I was in town visiting a friend in the Greenmount neighborhood; there are very few locations open in this area during the midday lunch hour so we decided to give the Ale House a try. I have no idea how this location has nearly 4 stars; it was probably the worst lunch I have ever had. There were no waitstaff,... More

Very sad to read your review. What day did you come in? Just to let you know, we are a pub. We don´t have wait staff nor do many traditional pubs. Our beer prices are cheaper to average for most of Baltimore offering local craft and imported beer. Lunch service is new to this area because this area has been... More

There was a lot of Irish music when I went. I guess it was Celtic music night. There really wasn't a band per say, but a lot of musicians jamming. It was fun. Didn't eat anything, but the beers were okay. Mostly the same craft beers one could find at other Baltimore drinking establishments.

Went for the trad session on a Wednesday evening. I'd call it an average place. $7 beers were kind of expensive. The trad session was nice, pretty low key. The location has been described as "dicey" - but I think that's how a lot of Baltimore is. If you're not game for a wee bit of an edgy city, stay... More

A dubious location for an Irish pub, but as a visitor to the city and meeting a friend for early dinner decided to try. Upon entering all eyes were on the TV in bar area, including those of the bartender. No effort was made to acknowledge us. We had to order at the bar, interrupting Ms Doubtfire playing on the... Last time I visited I was very disappointed in the food. This time it was much better - a tasty plowman's platter with smoked fish, smoked vegetables and cheese - they specialize in smoking food. And an unusual dill dip. The only weak point was the bread - I had to ask for more over and over, and it wasn't... More

An odd location for an Irish Pub, but given how fast Station North is gentrifying maybe Liam Flynn's Ale House was just prescient. There are several local drafts, as well as some nice Irish standbys (including Guinness of course.) There are also three taps just for cask-style. They are finally serving food, and it is amazing. My wife enjoyed her... More
