The Food Market came up on my Open Table app with highly rated reviews. The restaurant does have a Valet Parking service free of charge which one should take advantage given parking on the area may be a challenge. The waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable, and friendly to children. Service was excellent. Appetizers: Popcorn, Raw Tuna, Beets, and Cauliflower... More

My husband and I loved the Food Market. Go hungry, though because the entrees are kind of heavy. It's loud, but that's because the food is great and it's a fun place. I recommend the cocktails too. Not sure I could handle dessert here, maybe next time.

Although I have enjoyed amazing dinners here, on this occasion I stopped in after 11PM to get a late meal. Wait staff was very accommodating, and food was prepared as well as any time of the day. Had the lobster roll which was very good (had better, but not at too many places), and other appetizers. This is one of... More

The Food Market was the choice for this month's Girls' Night. Although we were looking forward to it, we were concerned that it would not live up to the hype. Now we can relax and look forward to our next visit! We each ordered two items from the Little and Small menus but kept the menu nearby in case we... More

I just happened to pick this restaurant and was lucky to get a reservation on a beautiful Sunday morning. The service was very good. The donut holes a big surprise and yummy! Drinks were interesting and excellent. And, the food was outstanding. I can't wait to go back.

As a Baltimore native, I was unaware of this Hampden gem until recently. It was our "girls lunch" and this was the restaurant selected. The restaurant is a bit loud, but the drinks were delicious and the food quite tasty. As we ordered drinks, our waiter advised our donut holes would be out in a minute. While not the usual... More

The Food Market is a hot destination for creatively prepared food and an active bar scene in Hampden. It's one of those places that just has great vibes and everyone seems to be having a good time. We visited with friends on a Saturday evening, with reservations, and were seated promptly. The restaurant features large metal tables and a high... More

I had never heard of Huevos Carnitas, but pulled pork on a toasted tortilla with scrambled eggs and home fries makes a memorable brunch with a glass of viognier. The bean burger was delicious with matchstick fries. The papa johntay, a flatbread with scrambled eggs, lots of thick bacon and cheddar drizzled with hot sauce was scrumptious. You get the... More

We stopped here by chance on a Sunday evening and couldn't have been happier. Jermaine, our server was extremely helpful in giving us suggestions off of the menu, which had so many offerings. We opted for about 9 small plates, instead of entrees and were amazed by the variety and quality of each choice. The French Onion Soup Rings were... More
