Was visiting Baltimore for one day and heard about this Hampden area, so decided to take a short uber ride from downtown to visit. The place has a great vibe and service was amazing from start to finish. I gave it a 4 instead of a 5, because some of the dishes could have been better. For appetizers, the buffalo... More

We were celebrating our 40th day before valentine's day, and while we had been to the Food Market for brunch, this was our first dinner there. The drinks were creative, the bartenders provided great service while we waited for our table. and meal never disappointed. The wait staff was attentive and helpful. The menu options made deciding difficult. The food... More

The Food Market has very good food and very good service. It is noisy so be prepared to talk loud at your table. Street parking is very hard, but they do have complimentary parking.

The place is very welcoming and overall there was a positive vibe. The brunch menu is modern and trendy but the items seemed to be matching well. There were not just thrown in for hipster sake.

The Food Market is a cozy comfortable little restaurant with incredibly tasty and fresh food. The place was very crowded for a Monday night, but we were able to find a seat at the bar while we waited for our table. We started with the Amish pretzels and beer cheese fondue per a friends recommendation. You can scroll down to... More

The desserts were out of this world! We ordered the half cooked blondie (I would go back just for this) and the bread pudding. The sea scallops dinner was excellent but I preferred my boyfriend's lamb dinner which was full of flavor and complimentary seasonings. I would also order the small plate of tuna, very small but very delicious. The... More

We have always enjoyed dinners at The Food Market (see my prior reviews!) but Saturday returned with our kids for a birthday brunch and were not disappointed. Should have realized this would be a perfect spot! Great drinks (not only the standards) with lots of innovative and interesting speciality new ones! (How do they come up with "French Toast" or... Service was great, food was great, lots of options for both food and drink. You have the option of doing smaller or larger plates. We had a few small plates (about 4 for 3 people) and were pleasantly full by the end. The complimentary valet was also nice, since it can be hard to find parking in Hampden.

Visiting the adult daughter and husband for a short weekend. They chose this restaurant and I am flabbergasted. My SIL loves basic food. You know, burgers and fries. It was restaurant week. He ordered duck wings as his app----finger licking good and all gone in record time. Our waiter was delightful, funny and interactive without hovering. I had the crab... More

Six of us had a great dinner on December 31st. We were promptly seated for our 7:15 reservation. Lively atmosphere, great service and delicious food. I had the Buffalo Pickles and the Short Rib - fantastic! Go and enjoy!
