Came for my husband's birthday. I got a lychee martini that was fantastic. He had a Duckpin pale ale that he thoroughly enjoyed. We shared an order of the mango BBQ wings that were very good. Not spicy. Just the perfect sauce. I ordered the general Tso's tofu that was very spicy but the polenta it came with took the... More

Delicious food with nice Indian flavor . The chicken wings and plantain were delicious. I got the Vindaloo which was quite spicy ...not for the faint of heart. My wife got the chicken Bombay which was full of flavor. I recommend this place

We are strictly gluten-free so it's always nice to find a completely gluten-free bakery. Sweet 27 offers a wide range of cupcakes - which is a real plus - but several of the cupcakes we bought were a huge blob of frosting on a very tiny cupcake. I don't really like frosting, so the small size of the cake part... More

I am from a small town in Pennsylvania which does not offer many gluten free options. When I heard about this bakery I knew I definitely had to stop in. With gluten free food, it's very hard to get something that actually tastes good, but these cupcakes 100% taste as good as they look! I got the chocolate cheesecake, raspberry... More

Came here to try the gluten free goodies. The only portion of this restaurant open was the cafe. It didn't appear to be clean. The tables and floors were sticky. That being said, we ordered the vegetarian tacos and a gluten free pizza. The pizza was unremarkable and the tacos were flavorful, but not as amazing as the previous reviews... More

We walked to this little neighborhood shop from Johns Hopkins. My daughter was happy to find a couple of gluten free and dairy free cupcakes. She also got a gf vegan pizza that was good but not great. Don't expect much from the location, but do love that you can eat freely.

As a Celiac, I was very excited to find place that had everything gluten free! Sometimes I am weary of the atmosphere. There is a place in Columbia, MD that is also gluten free, but it feels like a hospital. NOT Sweet 27! It was a regular place, and they did an amazing job at creating food, that isn't supposed... Baltimore is a Tale of Two Cities, or three, or four. While all the big chains (and corporate money) are by the downtown harbor, try to explore other neighborhoods! I was on my way to a meeting, needed some time to kill, and found myself suddenly famished. Drove through this neighborhood a bit at random, saw "Sweet 27" and found... More

This review is for the restaurant, not the bakery/cafe. Bottom line: good atmosphere, very good service, excellent draft beer selection, but food is good but doesn't quite deliver on the promise. Dined here with spouse and our #3 daughter who works up the street a few blocks. We met daughter at an event at her work, so we wanted someplace... More

Sweet 27 is difficult to explain but easy to love once you try it. They offer a unique mix of Indian, Caribbean, and American dishes but they are all delicious. The sweet potato fries are fantastic and their soups are perfect for a cold day, especially the coconut curry soup. However, the best dish I've had is a recent addition:... More
