We simply had a marvelous dinner, a truly memorable occasion. It was our first time eating here and we'll be back for special occasions.

This is a special event restaurant, and worth all the hype that you hear about it before you dine. You can choose your number of courses, and everything is presented beautifully, and tastes amazing. Definitely worth a special trip to Baltimore!

The food was great, however...They neglect that when u order 3,4 or 5 courses, you also get dessert. I only wanted 3 and felt pressured into getting 4. There were 4 of courses, we were over stuffed, and would have enjoyed it more, if it were better spaced time wise, and not pressured. All 4 of us would have been... More

We went with my in-laws for their 50th anniversary. What a great place for a special celebration. The food was exquisitely presented and absolutely delicious. Definitely a special occasion type of place!

Incredible food; the flavors worked so well together and just left you wanting more course after course. But you still end up extremely full and happy! The service made us feel like we were royalty. A must try for a romantic night out! Recommend: the lobster soup, lamb rack, foie de gras, and coffee panna cotta for dessert.

Staying in the 4 Seasons in Baltimore for a couple of nights, we wanted to treat some friends to a good restaurant. The concierge recommended Charlestons and luckily it was very close by. We were given a very warm welcome and shown to the bar for drinks. The sommelier suggested a cracking bottle of pink champagne and then offered us... More

As Charleston SC residents we know good restaurants. The chef/owner here has significant experience in Charleston SC and has transferred it successfully to Baltimore. There are a number of Lowcountry SC dishes on the menu and features in more mainstream dishes reflecting that heritage. It isn't totally fish-centered and is well-rounded and very well prepared.

It is no surprise that The Charleston wins dining awards in Baltimore. It's the fine dining star from the Foreman Wolfe restaurant group. Chef Cindy Wolfe designs the menu, while Tony Foreman cultivates and incredible wine menu to pair with the dishes. The challenge for dining at the Charleston can be the price. It's a pre-fixed tasting menu. While you... More
