My number 1 restaurant anywhere. From the very beginning of your evening, you are greeted warmly. Have their signature Piney at the bar while you wait for your table. Once seated, have their Greenberg Potato skins with the horseradish sauce. Equally good are the shrimp cocktail, and the many salad offerings. The star of the evening is the prime rib..the... More

I've been to the Prime Rib Restaurant in the past so when family decided to get together, this was our choice. Loved the complimentary valet parking, the atmosphere, and the helpful staff. We didn't know to make a reservation so we settled for seats at the bar - which was a good choice for us since we know the musicians.... More

Knowing you will find the same excellent service and attention to detail no matter how long since you have been there is a comfort. Knowing also that they will most certainly stay within their comfort zone in menu options is also important as to expectations. Although our server was in every way very good, he neither told us his name... More

First, thank you for participating in Restaurant Week. We were warmly greeted and shown to our table on the porch as requested. In no time, Brian, our server for the evening came over and greeted us. Brian was pleasant, knowledgeable and present when we needed him. Service and great food can always be counted on at The Prime Rib –... More

What can I say? This became my favorite restaurant a few years ago and it truly never disappoints. I have an annual outing with an aunt and cousin during Baltimore's Restaurant Week, and the staff, ambience and atmosphere are always A+!! We each had the prime rib, which was done to perfection and the creamed spinach and potatoes were well-seasoned... More

Through the years we have celebrated here, especially since the demise of Marconi's. It is as popular as ever; our three course Baltimore City Restaurant Week menu afforded us excellent choices and our filets could not have been better. the service is impeccable and the decor is still stylish. My only complaint is the total relaxation of any semblance of... More

This is my husbands favorite restaurant so we come here every year at least once (on his birthday). This year it was restaurant week so it was much less expensive. We love the escargot and oysters Rockefeller so we always start with that. The restaurant week menu had prime rib but it was poorly presented...taste was fine though. Don't miss... More

Four of us went during restaurant week. We thought it would be an interesting experience. We've talked about going for months, since it's practically a Baltimore landmark. I always thought it was in such a strange location, nothing exciting about the outside decor. It's in the bottom of an old apartment building. We walked in and you felt like you... More

I took my mother here to The Prime Rib and we were quickly sat near the bar area by very polite staff. The atmosphere is very calming and dimly lit. You could 100% see a bunch of guys in suits smoking cigars and drinking fine scotch at the bar (in theory of course, but that is the feel of this... More

Expertly handled party of six. Delicious apps and food. Try the house specialty drink - The Piney! Courses were perfectly paced. My prime rib was very good. Not as good as I remembered which was over the top but good nonetheless. Desserts were easly shared and once again great. Decor is old school and it works. Ambiance that even the... More
