Beautiful atmosphere, dark lit with Edgar Allen Poe poetry all over the walls even in the bathroom. The drinks are nicely crafted, I recommend the Annabelle Lee and the food is amazing. We have been here three times now and the specials are always changing...More

The salads were horrible (lacking key ingredients) and the balsamic was not balsamic - not sure exactly what that dressing was. The chicken tortilla soup was, hands down, worst ever. The server who was seemingly bored and stayed on her phone the entire time we...More

Narrow, dark, just a touch of kitch, and poe-tastic poetry everywhere. Top notch staff and superb food. Local craft beers and a carefully selected wine list. Bbq shrimp and grits was the best I've ever had. Pork belly replaced the customary sausage which took the...More

This corner bar in the middle of the Canton neighborhood is 100% uniquely Baltimore! Its quant atmosphere emanates with the darkness of Poe while simultaneously welcoming you. The food is awesome and they always keep it fresh with a new list of specials every night....More

Fabulous food and fun cocktail selections. Meatloaf platter was just right. Imperial-stuffed shrimp were like something you can only get in Maryland: huge chunks of crab topping delicious shrimp.

Kids are permitted inside the 'tavern' and there are some regular tables and chairs as well as bar stools and high tops. This place doubles as both restaurant and bar.
