Came in to try the Restaurant Week 3 course menu. Our server Chuck was very good and helpful with the menu. Chef Jim came to check on us to make sure everything was up to par. Dinner was very enjoyable and we would recommend Toast all day.

Our food was delicious. The only real issue we had was with the drink service. One person in our party ordered a large glass of orange juice. After a long wait (we observed other parties seated, their meal ordered and served), our server came to the table to announce that the restaurant had run out of orange juice. In addition, I had ordered a cocktail (Old Fashioned) featured on their menu. However, the quality and presentation of their delivered drink fell far short of my expectations. The manager or bartender who came to our table offered to remake the drink himself. Once again, we waited a very long time for the drink to be delivered. The new drink tasted much better, although the presentation was, again, not excellent. In their defense, the restaurant was very busy that morning. I would definitely give it another try the next time we visit Savannah.

Kunal, our waiter, was very personable and attentive. The food was great! Recommend the chicken and waffles, the chicken was very tender and tasty and the waffles and fruit were fresh. The beignets are amazing! Stop here for breakfast for sure!

The experience at this restaurant was disappointing overall. The biscuit I received was extremely hard, and while the kind server replaced it, the new one wasn’t much better. The gravy lacked flavor and was quite bland, as was the Irish omelet, though it was decent. The potatoes were just average, and the fries were subpar. On a brighter note, the Bloody Mary was enjoyable, though it was priced at $12 on the menu but charged at $13—a discrepancy the server explained, though it was still confusing. My wife’s fried green tomato BLT was the highlight, as she found it to be good. One frustrating aspect was the surprise 3% “administrative fee” added to the bill for using a credit card, which wasn’t disclosed upfront. While the server was friendly and did their best, these issues, combined with the lackluster food and unclear pricing, left us with no desire to return.

Good service however food below expectations. Toast and sausage cold to the touch when served; eggs over easy vs over medium; the French toast was perfect. NOTE - pay attention to your bill as charges did not align to menu pricing - kinda shocking. Took 10 minutes to resolve all that and was hoping to talk to manager but she didn't come by. Prices here are high but not offensive......you just hope and expect warm food and accurate charges.

While walking around, looking for somewhere to eat brunch on a Saturday, we saw this place and decided to give it a try. It was crowded, looked very new, so figured it would be good. We snagged two seats at the bar, I should’ve known when the lady sitting next to me had the chicken and waffles, the chicken looked burnt. They started handing customers, plastic utensils, because they were out of real silverware. The lady sitting next to my husband, got her food that was way overcooked, her sausage looked like it was old and overcooked. Another couple had an issue with their order, the manager ended up, comping something for them. I ordered a burger, it was not bad. My husband’s apple sausage was way overcooked. The staff was nice, but they still needed some training, they didn’t seem to really know what was going on.

After reading many good reviews, my wife and I were excited to have brunch at Toast. She ordered a biscuit breakfast and I ordered the chicken and waffles. (As a lifelong lover of Roscoe’s in Los Angeles I have long sought finding anything near as good. Spoiler alert: This wasn’t it.) Both meals were served ice cold. Although we are not usually complain or send it back people, we told the waiter who was apologetic and said he’d bring us two fresh meals. When he returned, the chicken was hot but the waffle was still cold. And frankly it tasted like a defrosted Eggo. The waiter could tell we were unhappy and brought us a small basket of beignets on the house. Point for the effort but those were cold as well. A disappointing meal that I wish I hadn’t even eaten. We should have just gotten up and gone somewhere else. The only positives are good air conditioning and the efforts of the kind waiter to rescue the situation.

A group of five former colleagues meeting up for a weekend in Savannah, we expected to have to wait for a table at this busy and popular brunch venue. The wait, however, was almost to the minute what our host Logan predicted, and during it we found the staff to be very welcoming and attentive, even apologetic that we had to wait at all. Our server Camryn did an excellent job of juggling our orders, even as we had a brief time of revising them and requesting substitutions, with patience and good cheer. The food itself was consistently good across the board as we shared several starters with Mimosas. My Broughton St Benedict (crab cake, fried green tomato) was delicious. Highly recommend.

Talk about an amazing experience! Chef Simone and his staff (Kunal) went out of their way to make the 10 of us feel like we were eating inside their home. And that is how fantastic the food was, absolutely amazing. My 1st time to Savannah for business and I will be back with my family 100%. You won't be disappointed!

Great spot. Sorry that the music was too loud. The food really was a bit sub par. Eggs not cooked per request and grits were sour in flavor. Biscuit was good. Our server, AJ, saved the day! He was attentive without being intrusive. Wonderful service.

server Kunal, food was poor quality, my mother said the biscuit would’ve been great fresh but it tasted days old. my food was mid at best. the only good things i ate here was the fries and ranch. server forgot things over and over, and wouldn’t notice any of the drinks completely empty and took no plates even if all were empty. brung out the wrong sauce when my dad asked. just overall mid. my mom ordered a power bowl, which is food uncooked on a plate.

Very disappointed in the food and service. By the time the waiter got to us we were ready to order but he told us he was only going to take our drink order, then took a long time to return. I had the Broughton Benedict. The fried green tomato was tasteless and the crab cake overcooked. My husband did enjoy his crab and shrimp omlet, but his biscuit was cold and hard and the gravy was eatery. So disappointed overall.

We had a great experience at toast! Slade was a great waiter and was very timely and helpful! He had a table near us that was very needy and slightly rude (no fault on him), and he still remained kind to them and patient - KUDDOS TO HIM!! I loved the chicken with the hot honey drizzle and avocado toast!! The location of toast is located on the same road as many great shops 😊 - The Hillmans (visiting from Alabama)

My experience eating here was really good and I enjoyed it greatly. The food may have been a bit late, however they updated us and made it up to us with beignes on the house. Everything was wonderful from the food down to our waiter who was very sweet and patient. You should visit and ask for Kunal! He is an excelent server. Highly reccomend this place!

Dodging the raindrops in Savannah, we stopped in at toast to have drinks and appetizers and Camryn our waitress was very accommodating for a large party of eight and splitting checks at least six different ways. Shorty, the manager tried to join in on a fun game and failed miserably, but was a good sport about it. Would highly recommend this on your list of places to stop in for a good cocktail and great appetizers.
