We arrived Saturday and after checking into our hotel we looked for something nearby that we could walk and grab dinner. We found this and everything was delicious! It was less than 10 mins from our hotel (near the riverfront area) and we were seated after waiting for about 15 mins. There's really no where to stand/sit while you wait for your table but it was soooo worth it! The service was very good, restrooms were clean and our meals were delicious! My son had the quesadilla, I had a cheese steak to die for and my husband had a HUGE steak that we ate as a midnight snack -- yummy!

It was a busy night at all restaurants- they were able to make arrangements and sit a large party of 7. Thank you for that. Food was great, fresh, lots of variety, priced right. I felt good after that meal. They make guacamole in front of you and serve you with a fried snapper at market price.( if you order one) It was fresh huge and market price $28. Service was good and we really enjoyed this restaurant and will be back.

Had been eating seafood all week long and wanted a change. This was top-rated for Mexican, and it did deliver. Fajita chicken was fresh and tasty; large portions; much cheaper than back home. Would go again and wish it was back home.

We went to this restaurant because it had great reviews but unfortunately we did not get to experience the greatness of the reviews. When we first walked in we were stared at, not greeted and it went down hill from there. From failing to give us menus and given little explanation of the use of an app to the serving of our drinks; which were mishandled by touching the rim of the cups we were going to drink out of. When confronted about it the server rolled her eyes. We complained to Carlos and then left.

We expected great things from this highly rated downtown Savannah restaurant. Our server was annoyingly slow, standing around looking at her phone while we waited to order and leaving our ticket and credit card sitting in clear view for about 10 minutes while she chatted and joked with employees. My quesadilla was great but my husband ordered chili verde and he couldn’t eat it—and he has a high tolerance for not too good food.

Walked in and asked for table for two. Hostess told me that they will not seat me until the other party is with me. I indicated that my friend was parking here car and I can even order food for her as well. The hostess and manager (Carlos) said its their policy not seat anyone until all parties are present. Even when i offered to order meals for 2 and drink they declined to seat me. Then i asked for a table for for one, and they did not offer to seat me as well. This wasn't busy a night as well, its evident there were seats not sure why the "owners" came up with this policy but needs to change.
Not the first time I have seen this before as well but enter at your own risk of being denied to be served. Not the way to go in 2020.

Ordered the fish tacos. Fish was bland and salty. Really no flavor at all to the tacos. Same with the burrito. Just didn’t have any flavors that pop, also very bland. My son ordered the nachos which were so overloaded the chips were just soggy. Margaritas were tasty.

The fresh made guacamole was very good. The rest fell short. Ordered a margarita and was heavy on the alcohol so one better have a DD. The server screwed up my order and I got regular beef tacos without cilantro, radishes, etc. the meat was watery. Wife had burrito and was lukewarm at best.

We brought the family here for dinner during our visit in Savannah primarily because we have a vegetarian daughter and an adamantly health-conscious daughter. It was here that they could order bowls, the Pura Vida, and we could order some good traditional Mexican fare. I girls really liked their bowls. I loved my street tacos of barbacoa and carnitas, but was not a fan of the camarones. My wife was content with her order, which was tacos of pollo and camarones. I was really happy with the flavor of my meat tacos and recommend that one sticks with the tried and true meat dishes or the Pura Vida, for the bowl lovers. The atmosphere was bustling and vibrant. Our margaritas were tasty and large, but not too strong.

We enjoyed our meal. We ordered the small guacamole ($5). I thought it was ok but needed some spice. The chips and salsa were good. I ordered the pollo rustico and my husband ordered the Chile colorado. Both meals were served with rice, beans, guacamole salad and tortillas. We both enjoyed the food and would go back again.

I wanted to eat really good Mexican food and I’m positive we chose the best place. Everything we ordered was delicious! I had the enchiladas (one chicken, one grilled veggie, and one cheese with ranchero sauce. It came with rice, refried beans, and a guacamole salad (not listed on the menu). The premium margarita was excellent. I love Luna Azul tequila, and their mix is fresh and smooth. Compared to many of the restaurants here, this one does an excellent job with social distancing. The service was perfect.

We enjoyed our dinner at Tequila's Town. The portions are generous. The service was okay. My daughter ordered the "Pura Vida" bowl, and she loved it. I had the chimichangas, and they were good. My wife had the enchiladas, and she loved them. My son and the burritos dos amores, and he thought they were good. So we were split down the middle: two of us thought that Tequila's Town deserved 5 stars, and two of thought it only deserved 4 stars. In the end, we decided it should have 4, because there was nothing creative or unusual or exceptional in the meal. They food was very good, and you should check it out.

My husband and I were looking forward to trying this place but came out with mixed feelings. To start, the table side guacamole was excellent! However, our meals were bland and flavorless. To end we had the flan which was the perfect texture, temperature and bursting with flavor. We would probably go back but only for drinks and guacamole.

Wow. Great service, great food and of course great tequila.
I had a texmex bowl which include chicken steak and shrimp over Mexican rice with peppers and other spices. This could be the best bowl I’ve ever had.

Pros: attentive staff, salsa (flavorful but not overly spicy), chips and carnitas street tacos (they were perfect!). I had a Paloma for the first time and it may be my new favorite tequila drink. My friend had the prickly pear margarita.
Cons: we opted for the premade guacamole and it was a little bland, we should have gone for the table side prepared fresh option. The steak fajitas were a bit over cooked and there wasn’t as much peppers & onions as expected (although some may prefer more beef, so they may see it as a pro).
All in all, we would definitely go there again. I wish there was something this good close to home.
