We were in Vancouver and looking for a diner style place for breakfast. We found this place on google so we followed the map. When we arrived the parking lot was almost full. We got to the door and there were people waiting in the rain in line.....that is a clue....great food. OMG....great service...great food...portions way to big for one... More

Home cooking at it's best! Breakfast is more than one person can eat and overflowing the plates.......LITERALLY OVERFLOWING! A little more pricey than some of the restaurants in the area that offer homestyle food, but you always, and I mean ALWAYS, have leftovers! They make a wonderful Club House sandwich.

Basic American diner fare in super huge portions! Especially at breakfast - most plates will serve 2 people and still have enough to take home. Especially the biscuits and gravy.

My husband and I split a half omelette and it was plenty! The food is fresh and delicious. The staff is friendly and attentive. We typically look for homemade traditional style diners for breakfast and this fit the bill. Reasonably priced too.

The Good: The food is good, not great, but better than expected. The portions are more than one would imagine! Tons and tons of food piled high on a single plate. Unless, you order the whole omelette, which is made with 6 eggs and takes up an entire plate by itself, so they give you a second plate for the... More

We stopped in on a Saturday for breakfast & were pleasantly surprised. The food was tasty & plentiful (even the 3 egg omelette would easily feed 2 people), the coffee hot & the service friendly & very attentive. The place was busy, always a good sign! The only negative was that it wasn't as clean as I would have liked... More

Talk about fat kid heaven! This place has been around forever. It's the ultimate hangover food. Carol's has become so popular now that there is a line out the door and around the building on Saturday and Sunday mornings, so plan accordingly. Once seated, your order is taken and brought to you really quickly. They serve on oversized plates and... More

Local diner with the biggest portions I have ever had. A 3 egg omelet and hash browns can feed three adults and I am not a light eater. Food was great as well as the staff.

This is the best breakfast in Vancouver, bar none! Not only are the portions heaping, but everything tastes great and is freshly made. Service always comes with a smile and is quick as well. Worth standing in line for if you get there after 9:00 on the weekends.
