Stopped in while staying in Brookine. Saw the listing on Yelp and thought it would be a great place to have dinner. My son had duck for the first time and I had the mussels and stuffed mushrooms. Spicy! Cajun! for sure. I think our total bill was $65 including 2 beers.

This is a reliable neighborhood standby for good food in an informal, relaxed, and relatively quiet setting. Though the dining room is small, the owner has not jammed it with tables. Our waitress was unhurried and took time to really talk to us. She knew the menu very well. Food was hot and very good. Our waitress did not deliver... More

We had dinner here on a Saturday night and the restaurant was quite busy, so I do not complain about our food taking a while to arrive. The service failed on a few other points, however. I asked for bread and was told there was none, with no apology or explanation. When our two glasses of red wine arrived, the waiter... More

Our "go to" spot for dinner in Coolidge Corner. Comfortable, welcoming (occassionally chilly if one is sitting near the door) and fair prices. Almost everything we have tried in our dozens of visits has been very good. Special cudos to the burgers. With one exception, they have been among the best we have found in greater Boston. Not an easy... More

This was our second night in Brookline and I was looking for a romantic place to take my wife out. We walked passed it and there was a free seat in the window... We walked in and it was fantastic. The food was great, a simple selection but for someone looking for a simple but good meal this is the... More

If you are hungry don't bother with this restaurant. Food is average, portions small and the menu severely limited.

We visited The Regal Beagle because we had eaten here 5 years ago, on our last visit to the area, and enjoyed it very much. I had salmon with lentils and wild mushrooms and my husband had a burger with a potato cake. They were both cooked to perfection and delicious. The service was excellent, attentive and friendly. The atmosphere... More

Had a solid brunch at regal beagle - there's the usual dishes expected for brunch like eggs Benedict, French toast, omelettes. The best part is there was no wait for brunch whereas other brunch places had lines out the door. If you're looking for an immediate brunch fix - you can't go wrong with regal beagle

Good food with lovely ambiance, never too loud but very cozy. Great for drinks as well. Try whatever is their special of the day.
