We met two other couples here for a mid-week evening. Good food, from muscles, to oxtail, to a variety of tapas. It is a bustling bar scene and seems to focus on drinks and tapas. Very noisy but also very busy with people en route from work.

Over priced. Wine very expensive. Food OK but pretentious Spanish food but not very authentic. Very quiet the evening we visited in April. Monday night

We made a reservation for two at 8pm. When we arrived there was no one at the front to state our arrival. We waited 15 minutes but we were not even acknowledged by any form of staff.I finally walked over to the bartender and was told someone will be with you shortly. Another 15 minutes and finally we were seated... More

We picked this place based on a review on Boston.com that said it was like being in Spain and one of the most romantic restaurants in Boston. The ambiance was ok, resembling places I've been in Spain , but not sure where the romantic review came from. Our waitress was nice but unhelpful in terms of guiding us through a... More

We've been dining at Taberna de Haro for many years, but we've been passing it by lately. The menu has been the same for years, but the prices have gotten crazy recently. Food is OK, but slow service really undermines the experience. One key highlight: Wine menu is very good, and very reasonably priced.

Wanted to eat locally. We love tapas and have visited Barcelona many times. This place has pricey average food. Unfortunately, they were having problems with the exhaust and should have closed the restaurant. Could barely eat through the smoke. Not a good experience.

Pleasant Spanisg tapa restaurant with outside seating though we stayed inside on a cooler night. Tables are small but there were only 3 of us. Nice wine list with good sherry selection. The tapas were very good and the prices decent. The pigs ears were among the best I'd had in a long time. Spicy pork skewers were succulent and... More

As consumers of usual Mexican fare, the offerings here were different, but all very nice. We chose 2 medium and 2 small tapas-style dishes, and were well-fed by this. The service was friendly and helpful.

My friend and I shared two tasty drinks, a tremendous bottle of garnacha red wine and seven tapas. They included two bowls of gazpacho, artichoke hearts, shrimp in garlic sauce, frogs legs, Serrano ham and blade steak with a sumptuous cheese sauce. Service was very good, and the whole meal was outstanding

whenever I need to go to Spain and my budget, life will not permit it, I visit this wonderful place. Her wine list is a book of poetry designed to temp any wine lover; it carries you across to Spain when time will not permit. The Spanish omelette is the best I have had outside of Spain and her Sherry... More
