The Travel Channel has a winner! Brookline is a very nice town in the Boston area. We stayed at a B&B less than 1 mile away. This small place only has eight tables so go early (4 to 5 pm). EVERYTHING we ordered was great. Be sure to request anchovies on the Caesar salad. My wife had the Linguine with... More

A friend of our Boston College son recommended this place and so by chance did the innkeeper at the B&B we are staying at, so all roads led to the Daily Catch. We're hooked for sure. We got there just in time (by 5:45 on a Saturday) to beat the line that soon formed and snagged a table where we... More

We took the family. Boys shared the large serve of fish & chips which was plenty for 2 kids under 10. Our food was fresh and delicious & I loved being able to watch the chef in action from our table. No reservations though so might be tricky to get a table, particularly for a larger group.

Very good fresh seafood. A bit noisy and crowded. Always a line. Worth the wait due to variety and quality. Nice wine options.

Four friends from New Jersey happened on "The Daily Catch" on a recent Friday evening and decided it is a definite keeper. We were fortunate to wander in to the restaurant just before 7 pm when lines began to form at the door and we got one of the last vacant tables. The restaurant is smaller and apparently it draws... Incredible food. Short wait as the restaurant is small like most of the Boston places we visited. We had seared tuna and swordfish. We also had fried calamari as an appetizer. More than enough food. The presentation was excellent. From what I can tell, we had one chef and a waitress serving all 6 tables. Awesome food and atmosphere.

Nice little place. I got there shortly before they closed and they very graciously let me in. The fish tasted super fresh and was cooked perfectly. The waitress was very polite and accommodating. It's a cozy atmosphere and everyone around me had food that looked good. Over a nice spot.

The food was great, the atmosphere was cozy, with only about six tables all together. It was well worth the wait.

Ordered the monkfish. The dish had very little flavor and tasted like it was frozen fish; not fresh. The clam dish my friend ordered seemed to be much better.

My friend and I followed our hotel's recommendation to dine at Daily Catch. Wow, atmosphere was cozy, lots of couples dining. We were seated a few minutes after arriving. I chose the poached calamari salad and my friend chose the calamari meatballs to start. My entree of scallops and steamed broccoli was delicate, melt in your mouth fantastic! My friend... More
