I am a regular at Kupel's. I usually go for breakfast on Sundays. They are closed on saturday because of religious matters. Everything I tried is very good. If you need a recommendation try their St. Paul or Coolidge Corner.

Excellent bagels, all sorts of choices of types, lots of cream cheese mixtures, fairly good lox, fair pastries.

Kupel's makes the best bagels I've ever had, and their sandwiches are fantastic! I have been several times, and my favorites are the Fenway and the Longwood. Counter service is really fast. There aren't too many spots to sit, but most people take out here anyway. Kupel's is easily accessible on public transit on the 66 bus line, and it... More

Quick caveats: 1. Bagels should not have fruit, pumpkin, or chocolate. Bagels should not be green. Bagels should not be presented as a cute, clever thing with a bunch of fake Yiddish. 2. Real bagel places aren't open on Saturday, so if you show up and they're closed, it's your own darn fault. Okay? So the WORST deal at any... More

Kupels is more a shop than a sit down place to me. Yes they have some tables but it's right in the path of traffic. The bagels are out of this world. We also had the garlic and herb cream cheese to go A round raisin challah and two pastries. It all was very delish. We will be back when... More

People line up for their turn to get fresh bagels with varieties of cream cheeses and lox, delicious breads, especially pumpernickel, rye and challah breads. Yummy pastries and other treats. Great neighborhood Kosher bakery!

I have yet to get a disappointing bagel sandwich here. The bagels are fresh and they are VERY generous with shears.

Their bagels are good, but if you want to eat there it's very expensive and their pastry selection isn't huge.

Decent bagels. I was hoping for the kind I used to get in South Florida but these are a bit lighter. The everything bagel was a bit different, I've never had one with oats on it. But they were good. Also had some chocolate croissants that were very good. We went at 7pm on a Wednesday night and they still... More
