My girlfriend and I saw this place in the Fredericksburg guide on things to do online, so we decided to pop by. The place is in a great location just across the Rappahannock River from downtown Fredericksburg with a great view. We sat outside and took full advantage of the great view and got to watch the traffic pass by... More

This restaurant is a bit hard to get to and park at, but it's worth it. The furniture needs updating, as I sat on an old low couch whose supports had long since given out. That said, our waiter was very nice, our food was surprisingly fast, and I really enjoyed it. The fried green tomatoes were excellent, and I... More

Chili for an appetizer was cold. Waiter never asked about temperature of hamburger. Waiter never gave me a spoon for chili or coffee. Portion of French Dip was all bread and no meat. Waiter brought condiments after several minutes of waiting. If you order burger and fries, one would think they would bring ketchup with them. Dropped check off without... More

It was our first visit to Amy's. Many years before Amy's, this place had the best ribs around. There is great competition among eating places in the Fredericksburg area. While we did go on a light lunch the burger was good but small. What was more exciting was the building itself. While we don't do fast food places, I would... More

Very charming place. Our food was well prepared, tasty, & excellent. However...$15 for a single catfish filet was astounding. Even a $7, 1/4lb hamburger with frozen french fries seems a bit much. You won't need a doggy bag here but might need a snack when you get home.

We have now tried this place twice. Both times for breakfast. While the place has charm and character, frankly, Dennys does a much better job with breakfast. The food was, both times, just pretty mediocre, maybe even lousy. And the service both times left a lot to be desired, and they were not busy either time. The lunch/dinner menu looks... More

Had a wonderful lunch today at Amy's Cafe. The Rubin was to die for and the wife enjoyed her wrap. The homemade apple crisp pie top off a wonder lunch.

As per usual, we trust that users reviews will lead us to good places to eat. Amy's Cafe is no exception - we had the meatloaf and we were not disappointed. Good food, and portions ample for the price. We are just sorry there was no room for dessert. We had a 3-day weekend opportunity to see Wasington DC for... More

Nice dinner with friends. Good service and nice variety on the menu. We tried the Rueben and the chicken fried steak.

Amy's is tucked away under the Falmouth bridge, right on the Rappahannock River. The food is great and you should especially try heir Roasted Red Pepper and Gouda soup, along with their Meatloaf! No what meal you're needing, Amy's is open for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Brunch!
