Stopped here for a snack during a 1st Alaska tour to the Arctic Circle (phenomenal by the way). I got a slice of strawberry rhubarb pie. Did I say slice? This was more like a double or triple slice! I love pie but not typically a big pie crust fan. This was something else! YUM!

A lover of pie, I stumbled upon this truck stop with the most amazing coconut cream pie ever! The other food looked delicious but already eaten dinner. Best slice of pie. Great find! Don't ever change.

I really wanted to drive on the Dalton Highway so we started on the Elliot Highway. A quick stop to use the restroom and get a piece of pie then we were off. We stopped on our way back to split a burger and use the restroom. Even though we stood out from the regulars, most were off for moose... More

About as far north as most would be willing to travel, the Hilltop Truck Stop serves one of the best breakfasts in Alaska. The sausage patty is the size of a quarter pound hamburger and their home fries are always crispy and hot. Without a doubt, the best biscuits and gravy I have eaten in Fairbanks. Nothing fancy about the... More

This is a must place to stop and top up your gas tank and save a little. Its at about mile 6 on the Elliott hwy on the left hand side usually a lot of big rigs parked in the big parking lot. Gas from here up is iffy and more money. The restaurant is clean and servers very friendly... More

We always stop by Hilltop on our way out of Fairbanks. We get gas, air and food. Service is still very good, and food is also great. We never have room for pie though.

The food at the Hilltop is good but it's a great place for pie! It's not unusual for folks to go there just for desert or a treat!

Stopped at the Hilltop before heading further north to the Dalton Highway. Great short order breakfast served in ample portions to satisfy those "Ice Road Truckers" and some green horn tourists as well. We did take some lunch sandwiches to go, to satisfy those urges on the long drive. My biggest mistake was not to get a piece of pie.... More

Me and the Mr. Took a long scenic view and came across the Hilltop Truck Stop restaurant. We ordered 2 pies , I ordered the coconut pie because I am an island girl, give me anything with coconut and I am super happy. Well well what a piece of pie. The Mr. have a tendency to dig into my plate,... More
