It is a nice stop point on the trip to Arctic circle, and also a great point to view aurora during winter. You will meet a guy with a wolf hat, that is Jeremy. He is an interesting man and a master hunter. He sells some amazing necklaces and will be happy to exchange that with some foreign money to... More

The ONLY stop for hours and hours and you will be very happy if it is open! Sure, it's not fancy but what do you expect in the middle of nowhere? It's warm and has a bathroom and if you are lucky they might have gas. We enjoyed talking to all the locals there and if you are lucky you... More

On September, 6, 2016, I took a tour to the Arctic Circle through Northern Alaskan Tour Company and we could pre-order lunch from the Yukon River Camp at an additional cost of $12. We were given an order form to fill out before we left Fairbanks so that we could select the type of drink, meat, cheese, bread and toppings... More

We stopped here after visiting the Circle, mainly to use restroom, and hit the gift shop. But i would have eaten here too but they were busy cooking per-ordered meals for incoming bus tours. So be aware of that. They do not cook anything else until bus tour food is done. Also, if you want gas, go in, tell him... More

Our group stopped at the Yukon River Camp Cafe for dinner on the trip south, on the Dalton Highway, from the Article Circle. We pre-selected meals on the trip north and dinner was ready when we arrived. Our group of ten were served promptly and the meal was very good, in ample portion. The Camp is a remote location about... More

We stopped at Yukon River Camp Cafe for lunch on the way up the Dalton Hwy to Wiseman. We were pleasantly surprise by the high quality of food and huge sandwiches. I had their coconut curry salmon potato soup that was so good the waiter gave me a bit more...which out charging! Many tour groups stop here for lunch or... More

It's not really "nowhere". It's beside the Yukon River and the Dalton Highway but there really isn't much civilization anywhere near it. It doesn't look all the great but the food (salmon) was quite good.

Let me start by saying that I have traveled the Dalton Hwy on more than one occasion and I am aware that things happen no matter how prepared you are. On July 2 a friend and I drove from Fairbanks to the Arctic Circle. We had calculated our gas and knew we would make it from Fox to the Arctic... More

Great place to be , because of the Yukon Bridge , which is THE only Bridge over River Yukon in Alaska. Secondly to see the Mighty River Yukon at its best. Basic restaurant.
