Sadly, my experience was a singular visit to Five Leaves before I had to leave Brooklyn. Wish I had discovered it sooner during my stay. Go and visit this place. Try the housemade ricotta and the provoletta sandwich. Enjoy delicious food created with talent and imagination.

You can get your 2 eggs, hash browns, toast breakfast here as well as more electric breakfast fare like ricotta pancakes topped with fruit or muesli with sundried strawberries and rhubarb - delicious!! Small and crowded but lively with bass-heavy music. A fun scene and delicious food!

Recommend: the ricotta, the kale salad and the truffle fries. The BLAT (bacon, lettuce, avocado and tomato) was waaaaaaaaay too bready but the avocado spread on it was awesome ! Service was slow and well a bit ditzy when our server took our app plates OUT of our food dishes but LEFT the food dishes behind. She didn't offer us... More

OK we stayed just across the street from this place and could easily see this is one busy place. It is very popular and it is crowded from when it opens for breakfast until midnight. The food is excellent, service is too and reasonable prices for this type of resturant. My only caution is take a look at the menu... More

Hip joint with frequent long wait times. But the food and location make it worthwhile. The crowd is quintessential hipster Brooklyn and fun to watch. Easy to get to on the G train (Nassau station), across street from subway stop. Enjoy!

This is a really great place in even really great part of Williamsburg. We arrived there on a little rainy day and we immediately felt at home and had a great time. Nice hip music, good wines, nice food. The food is nothing really fancy but just honest good food. I really would recommend.

I have just got back from a week in New York. Our hotel suggested this place and we were not disappointed. The food was amazing and the service really good. We visited twice during our stay. The blonde hostess/waitress was really friendly.

Second time here with son who lives in Brooklyn and is a regular. I had mesquez omelet and my son added a steak side, all nice portions, to his farro. We were able to sit inside without waiting mid afternoon. There was as expected a wait for outside. Seven people crammed into a tiny kitchen produce reliable and varied dishes.... More

Nice little place, good food. Mussels and pate were great as starters! We were visiting on Saturday so it was really crowded (waited 45 min for a spot outside). But worth it! Lots of locals, friendly crowd. Little less pretentious/hipster than the spots in Williamsburg. Good hardworking staff although we got a wrong (extra) order twice.

I find this place overrated: the location at a busy crossroads is not too nice, and the food (I had a burger) was average, nothing special. Service was slow and too busy to be friendly.
