When a Restaurant has a Heart ❤️ My fiancé and I decided to check out this restaurant for a dinner date night last Friday. When you walk into the restaurant, you can immediately feel the comfort and warmth of Italian hospitality. They have several seating...areas, both indoor and outdoor, so you can choose to your liking. Every table has hand sanitizer on it - great attention to detail! Now the best part about this restaurant, is that Chef Raffaele and owner Donald treat all guests as family. They personally touch every table - how amazing is that? We spoke with Donald and he told us how when COVID came and they were forced to close, he and his staff cooked all the food they had and fed essential workers, homeless and the elderly. Now let’s talk food :) We started off with burrata - beautiful presentation, and beautiful complemented by mango and pistachios; then we had penne à la vodka with crab meat, my favorite there, totally delicious; and we also tried sea bass in parchment with shrimp and scallops - very good, though fish was slightly on a drier side (me being super picky here ha ha) Overall, great place, highly recommend and was worth a trip to Brooklyn! If you’d like to see my VIDEO REVIEW you’ll find it on TikTok ;) @fabulous.newyorkerMore

The place was crowded, nicely decorated. Waiters very attentive and especially fast, for the crowded place. In the heart of Brookling. Don't forget to try the Benedictine eggs. They serve you the brunch (25 dollars) accompanied by champagne or the cocktail "mimosa". With friends, family...or couple... don't miss it.More

First time at Scottadito. Picked it out of a few top choices from Trip Advisor and Yelp. We were not disappointed! From the moment we walked in (late) we were welcomed warmly. During dinner, the owner came over to make sure all was good. The...chef and I traded our Italian recipes for all sorts of dishes. And dinner was in my upper "20%" of Italian restaurants in NYC and other cities that I make it a point to try Italian. If you are passing through Park Slope and wanting Italian for dinner - definitely try Scottadito!More

My family and I ate at Scottadito's on a busy Saturday night (reservations recommended) and were not disappointed. The restaurant itself was a bit crowded in the front area where we were seated but wasn't to much of a problem. The service is efficient and...pleasant. I had one of the specials and my family ordered pasta dishes and we were all pleased with the result. Prices were a bit high but you're in the NYC area (we're from LA) so that's what you get! I would certainly eat here again on our next visit and would encourage you to do so as well. Enjoy.More

Gracious, thoughtful and attentive service combined with a fantastic meal made for a memorable night. Love to start with the antipasti and keep choosing from there. Bread with olive oil, zuppa of the day and moved to the olives and delicious crostini: tuscan kale, cannelleni...beans, and E.V.O.O. ; Pasta handmade in the kitchen - perfecto! Secondi - memorable! As in any traditional Italian home: finished with limoncello and espresso. p.s. Thank you again for a wonderful evening! Be well and stay curious, Lipstick WarriorsMore

So glad that I found this place. One of my all time favorite boozy brunch discoveries. Located on a busy block in Park Slope this delightful Italian spot doesn't look like your typical boozy brunch establishment at first glance. Beautiful rustic interiors and a live...fireplace give the restaurant a pretty classy feel. They even have a lower level which feels like a wine cellar to accommodate private events and large parties. Brunch is $25 a pop for an entrée and unlimited mimosas or champagne for about 90 minutes. The offerings consisted of a variety of a egg preparations, a few salads, a few types of pasta and some other brunch classics like French toast. I was quite tempted to try out one of the egg based dishes but ultimately decided to go with the spinach gnocchi and was throughly delighted that I did. The house made gnocchi was rolled in a spinach based dough as opposed to a potato based one and it made all the difference when paired with the mimosas as we didn't feel like it was bloating us up. The mimosas themselves were pretty good and our wonderful server Gina ensured that our glasses were always full. They also had a range of brunch cocktails for $5 which looked promising and which I will surely return to try. All the staff at the restaurant right from the hostess to all the servers were exceedingly friendly and hospitable and they absolutely enhanced an already lovely experience. I will definitely be back here for brunch and for other meals as well.More
