After hearing great things about it, nothing at all was any good when we had dinner there. From the service to the atmosphere to the food it was all much worse than it should be for the price and reputation. We were a large table dining downstairs and to start with service was patchy. Given there were only two tables... More

We sat at the bat with our teenagers and had a great meal. The pea shoot salad was wonderful in its simplicity and freshness. The pizza was a great and to our surprise we had wine and beer with lunch. Their fun Italian wine list was too much of a temptation.

We ate at the bar on a very loud, crowded Thursday night and I'm glad we did. The bartender steered us to perfect wines and menu selections. The crispy potato app was perfection. The mushroom pizza was crisp-crusted deliciousness and my seafood pasta entrée was rich and satisfying. We'll definitely go back.

My husband and I have traveled the world. We went to Franny's due to it's reputation. Unfortunately it's over-rated and over-priced. $22 for an individual pizza, which is not spectacular is very expensive for Brooklyn. In addition, we both found our pizzas to be average at best - very little sauce, no incredible toppings. We were surprised to be honest... More

I've eaten here three times: $20 for an individual-sized thin-crust artisanal-style pizza may not be considered overpriced for people with incomes much greater than my own or people and/or not fully aware that you can buy a huge equally tastie pie two blocks away (not artisanal). Okay, that place suffers from bright-lights, Formica table tops and a working-class clientele. So... More

We received a recommendation regarding the pizza here and weren't disappointed - White pizza with clams, chilli and parsley was sensational and the simpler tomato, basil and buffalo mozzarella wasn't far behind. Great dough. Service fair and good enough value, but seriously it's all about the pizza.

Went to Franny's before a Brooklyn Nets game and enjoyed it all. The pizzas were each hand crafted with locally sourced ingredients. Individual pizzas were enough to share for two and the service was quick and pleasant.

Terrific atmosphere. Wonderful service and best pizza ever. Upscale and classy with modern bent and wood stove fired pizza.

Food is A plus. If you are in Brooklyn and come close to this neighborhood, you must try Franney. I had all good intentions of trying a pizza and never got passed the smaller plates that are luscious, different, interesting and well deserving. You WILL go back! Service was awesome too.

We have been going to this place since 2008, ate at their old location on Flatbush Ave. They have been very consistent and food is always fantastic! Seasonal menu, great wines, innovative cocktail, stuff is very kind, professional and nice. Love it!
