Love the decor of the place and the great location in Brooklyn although parking might be a challenge especially on weekend. Loved the food and the staff was very helpful in replying questions about ingredients. I would highly recommend it.

The three of us had a nice dinner on Saturday night at Madiba. Didn't need reservations to sit inside. Service was excellent. Food was good. We split the butter salad which was good. Then two of us split the seafood dish, and the third person had the burger. Everything was tasty. The best part of the meal was the dessert... More

This restaurant is just amazing. One of my favorites. I love their lamb, steak, oxtails and red wine. If you get a chance, enjoy it!

I had the fish, calamari, fries dish and enjoyed my meal. The fish was seasoned nicely. I would recommend this location to anyone trying to grab some good food.

My friend and I came here for dinner on a weeknight. It was bustling, but there was still plenty of space for us inside. The Africa-themed decorations, pop art, candles, etc. lent the restaurant a hip and romantic vibe. Service was attentive, but not excessive. We shared a vetkoek (sourdough with beef/mango chutney - amazing!) and a chicken curry (tasty,... More

I came to dinner with a group of friends and had a great time! Initially, we had a reservation for 10 people. 3 people weren't able to make it, and another 3 were 30-45 minutes late. The host at the door was great, and assured me that there would be no problem, and that we were welcome to wait for... More

Very busy place, service could be better. Friendly host but too busy to have too much attention. Bobotie was tasty for 19USD. Good people, good night on the town. Music was great and people were rolling in! South African flavors in town. Overall, a worthwhile experience but no need to return for awhile. Very packed. Currently, the outdoor area is... More
