Well regarded pizza place that prepares a traditional New York style pie. Zagat and James Beard rated, but maybe overrated at that.

The pizza here is absolutely wonderful. Everything is handcrafted and the pizza is made while you wait. The sauce is fabulous, the crust is delicious and the overall taste is just awesome. We love to eat here.

I visited this place because it was named "the best pizza" place in NY according to the Food Network. For me, the pizza was just okay, I definitely wouldn't call it the best. I've had better in NJ and various cheaper places in NYC. But there is a long history there and it's nice to see a small family-owned pizza... More

Between all of the reviews, awards, and recommendations received for Totonno's, I had high expectations of their food and service when I went in for a pizza. I was disappointed on both counts. My boyfriend and I were greeted by a woman who seemed like just about everything irritated her. We ordered a plain pie and when it finally came... More

Great pizza crust, tasty passata. Do what we didn't do and go easy on the toppings - sausage, onion and mushroom were delicious but kind of unnecessary. Friendly Brooklyn welcome and good value. We arrived shortly after midday on a holiday weekend so getting a table was easy. Mike delivered the pizza to us personally. Along with Gargiulo's clams, Totonno's... More

This is the home of the first pizzaolo ever in this country. The recipes and traditions have been passed through the family for a century or so. The best pizza we had in NY by far.

One of the best. More toothsome crust (though still thin), than Grimalidii's or Patsy's makes this the perfect pie for sausage. Know before you go: whole pies only; expect to queue, even on weekdays; best to eat in; don't try to order ahead and grab a table when you come to pick up -- like lots of mom & pops,... More

Aussie family made to feel like family...Welcomed with open arms & the best pizza by far. The pizza was amazing. Definitely worth the trip from NYC to enjoy. Worth the wait for a table. Don't miss out you'll regret it.. Then after enjoy a stroll on the Coney Island Boardwalk..
