This is authentic Italian style pizza! We got bread and oil to start, and luckily we did not fill up on that because their basic pepperoni pizza was amazing. Big thin slices with fresh mozzarella and tomato sauce. All the flavors went so well together. Four of us shared a large pie.

I've been going to the La Villa in Bergen Beach for over 20 years. Their Gramma pizza is the best I've ever had, by far. Great food overall.

The baked clams were great! The meatballs were good but a little salty but good. The service was great and the veal marsala was excellent! the pizzas at the surrounding tables looked really good. I really wanted to ask a stranger for a slice but my friends asked me not to. I am looking forward to trying an old fashioned... More

Ate here last night. Staff is great and friendly, seats were comfy. Had the chicken soup , very hearty .. also had the chicken herb calzone.. not your regular calzone, more like a thick panini. That being said. Well done , slightly charred on outside just the i like it. My wife had the chicken arugala wrap.. Very tasty. Cant... More

We came here for lunch at about 11:30 am. The waiters warned us that it would be noisy in a few minutes when the "kids come for lunch" but we decided to stay anyway. And sure enough, about 30 middle schoolers descended, chattering, for pizza and Coke. Still, it was a friendly family-type atmosphere and the spaghetti, pizza and New... More

Well, perhaps we just got the JV team for the wait staff, but no matter, being ignored, having to ask for water 3 times, having the food arrive in shifts so that some are finished eating before the food arrives, and having your plate dropped in your lap while they are clearing, does not warrant a 4 or 5 star... While visiting my 30ish nephews we stopped here for dinner. Had a bit of a wait but well worth it. The Napolitano pizza is DOC or made exactly like in Naples. Very thin crust baked in a super hot wood fired oven. The crust poofs up and everything is melted amd sizzly. Absolutely the best pizza i ever had. And... More

Yes, the pizza was fabulous - hey, it's NY. So was the spaghetti Vongole Bianco. But Dessert Calzone? Filled with sweet ricotta cheese and Nutella and powdered sugar on top??!!? It should be illegal it's so good.
