The wait is really long and the service is sometimes on the slower side... but OMG the pizza is worth it! You can taste the quality of the ingredients they use. The dough is phenomenal and it tastes like they prepare it the traditional way...More

This pizza is my favorite pizza in NYC and second favorite pizza in the world (Italy still holds first place-name omitted). The wait is crazy long and the service isn't the best but the pizza is worth it. You can taste the quality of the...More

My wife and I had a pizza in this place for dinner. Very cute place, few tables, kind smiley waitresses, warm soft lights. Extreme menu: pizza or calzone plus few toppings of your choice; no alcohol (you can bring your own), no deserts. But pizza...More

FANTASTIC IN EVERY WAY ... worth the wait even though we got to Brooklyn at 4:00pm and couldn't be seated until 7:45pm.

Over the years I have been working through the list of the great pizzerias of Boston, NYC and New Haven. I finally made it to Brooklyn to try Lucali. We have some amazing pizza in Boston but Lucali has just set the bar for all...More

This was my second time here. I live far away but when visiting NY family, must get pizza here and a calzone. My family swears by it. The sausage or pepperoni pizzas are quite good with really thin dough. Lots of cheese and basil to...More

We stood in line for 45 mins and were in and out in 30 mins. The pizza was very good but probably not worth the wait. It's BYOB which is nice. Beware it's family friendly, we were surrounded by small children and their toys.

This is a place that is a must visit, at least once. There is no other pizza restaurant like it. It is very small, and not actually crowded, as the owner happy with his thirty seats. The menu is very limited, one pizza with a...More

Lucali, in Brooklyn, is one of the finest eateries I have ever been. There was a lot to like about the place. From wall to wall, the place had such a historic feel, but it did not feel old. It had a spark to it,...More

I love that there is no menu. Only one kind of pie, and you can add as many toppings as you'd like. The ambience is cozy and intimate. Arrive early so you won't have to wait in the long line since it is a small...More

Nope, definitely not child friendly. It's very small space with only a few closely placed small tables. Pretty dark, with servers moving around quickly and frequently.
