We always eat here when we go to visit family, it's a great place :) It has an authentic feel and living in Colorado we don't get real Mexican food, (the kind we were raised on since were born and raised in NM) It's always a treat to go here and get a real chili relleno, made as it should... More

We went to thinking something might be different but, it was excellent just like we remember all the time. The combination plate was excellent. Salsa was hot as usual. Great service as always. A great place to eat.

My family and I went to Silver City for a day trip and decided to have dinner here as my wife really liked it on our previous trip. It took a few minutes for them to realize they had customers, but they apologized and seated us quickly after that. The server was friendly and attentive to the needs we had... More

Went here for dinner last night and it was not too crowded. Arrived at 7:30pm not realizing the kitchen closed at 8pm. I had chile rellenos with green chile. They were very tasty and had plenty of kick, probably a little more kick than I am used to. The service was excellent. I will definitely go here again.

The menu has a red letterred warning about the cooking spices. It was accurate but the enchiladas were enjoyed washed down with beer.

Our visit was perfect. The food was generous and correctly prepared. The service was spot on. This was some of the best Mexican food I have ever had.

Love Jalisco. One of my favorite restaurants. The chile is very spicy so if you are not used to hot food be careful. The only thing I don't like is that sopapillas are for dessert. I like mine with my enchilada for sopping up the sauce. This changed years ago and I wish it would change back. The Silver Cafe... More

Popped in here last week for a quick dinner. Restaurant was busy but fairly quiet- they close early on weeknights, so be aware of that! Excellent enchiladas, really good rice and nice spicy salsa. Service was good overall.

First I will say that the service was excellent. I got two chicken burritos with rice. I really liked the salsa that came with the chips even though I knew my stomach would regret it later. The burritos (I got the milder green sauce vs the hotter red sauce) were ok. They didn't seem to have much flavor except for... More

Looking for a place to eat after hiking the Gila Caves and went to the historic downtown of Silver City. Passed by this restaurant; saw lots of people inside eating, so figured it must be good. It was; although my enchiladas were very good, the red sauce was a little hotter than I like. My husband loved his burrito plate... More
