We were recommended to this place by the locals. They had raved about their salads. So, I had the salad and wasn't that impressed. Of note, I saw some people eating a calzone (it was huge!) and they seemed to be enjoying their meal. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing.

Strombollis is known for it's Calzones which the advertise as, "as big as your head." I don't know if they are quite that large but they are quite large and tasty. A good choice of topping for a pizza and other Italian dishes are available.

I have eaten here a few times and it has always been the same. Few table and long wait times for the servers to get to your table. Once the food arrives it is always amazing. I wish the servers had the same dedication as the cooks. Then this place would be perfect.

It was a cold, busy tourist week and we were skeptical to wait for a table here, but were indeed seated quickly and served in a timely manner. They had a decent beer and wine selection, our kids had pizza while the adults had entrees. I had the chicken piccatta and it was delicious. Apparently the restaurant was once owned... More

Half full, no reservation needed. No WiFi (no AT&T), just T Mobile. Soggy calzone, salad was disappointing, tight parking. Eat before 8 PM. Good service if you see 3 staff for 30 customers struggling. Will not recommended. Safeway is a better option.

Visited on 31st October, got there quite late and they were just about to start shutting down for the evening, however they were happy to serve us if we didn't mind them clearing up around us. We were really hungry so that was not a problem. We ordered a small pizza and a calzone and my goodness they were huge... More

We were starving after the Canyon tour. Food was served fast and the menu perfectly suited our vegetarian and vegan needs. Portions are rather small though. We returned for pizzas and these were awesome too! Will gladly recommend.

Smaller dining room than expected but luckily we were able to be seated quickly. Large portions and a large variety on the menu.

Beer was great, an IPA brewed in Flagstaff. The appetizer sampler plate was very good but the Guido Special pizza was terrible. It was supposed to have several kinds of meat on it but the pizza consisted of black olives, green peppers, some red onions and a thin coating of tomato sauce on the crust. This was a vegetarian special... More

We had pizza. It was ok. Service was attentive. We may go back if we're in town for an eggplant parmesan.
