Get there early, and plan on a wait. Busy place, with limited seating. Quaint building and great service. worth the wait.

We came here a previous evening during our stay in Grand Marais and there was an hour plus wait. So we decided to try another evening before 5 and were not disappointed. I had the house salad and grilled whitefish with potatoes. They were all...More

Great food. Turkey breast sandwich fresh moist, tomatoes succulent with a great cheese. The turkey wild rice soup had a very nice sweetness to it. I only had a spoonful, my wife was not sharing alot because she really enjoyed it.

I was surprised by the quality of food available in this small town. Dinner was prepared with great quality and fresh ingredients. Gourmet type preparation. Portions were just right. I did not leave feeling hungry.

By itself, it is worth a return trip to Grand Marais. Big city quality food in a relaxed atmosphere. The variety on the menu was a pleasant surprise and made deciding on a meal more difficult.

Our party of two visited this café for lunch. Short 15 minute wait. We both had the special, which was a pulled pork sandwich on chibata , with Carolina vinegar sauce, lettuce and tomatoe. Excellent. Also great craft draft beers.

We have gluten free bread for all of the sandwich items. Most of our entrees are also gluten free. My staff is very knowledgeable and can let you know which items can not be done gluten free. Thanks. Sara
