I've lost track of how many times I've been to Rio Grande, both the one by the airport on Friendly and at New Garden. Really - everything is excellent. I usually end up going with the Jalisco Tacos, I've tried all of them and suggest the Carnitas is a must, their Pastor is excellent too, as is the chicken. You... More

A simple restaurant with great mexican food. I loved the chicken fajitas! The place is down to earth and relaxed with very good service.

Wow! This place has really changed things up! We received a pleasant greeting at the door even though they packed and very busy. We loved the new menus. The menu has slimmed down a little bit which was a good thing because it was too much before. Our server was great; very attentive. The El Alambre with the bacon and... More

Wife and I visit the G'boro area often because we have family here. Our favorite place to get together is Rio's. However, this time we got carry out fajitas for a friends and family get-together. I can't say enough good about it. The chicken in the fajitas is always tender, just enough grilled onions and peppers. Chips and salsa are... More

Every time we go the food is excellent. Last time we had several of their seafood choices and both were excellent. Liked the music. While the food was cooked very quickly, the service was spotty at times, had to wait to get our check and then to pay for. But that was minor and we would go back again.

The food was great. I go to to Mexico at least once a year and the food was very authentic. I was staying nearby on my way from Pittsburgh to Myrtle Beach and we stopped here for dinner. The servers were all very friendly and we had a great fun dinner.

They had great food and great service! Definitely worth a visit again! The waiter was quick, friendly, and accurate. They give you a lot of food for your money. My husband got the "Rio Grande" meal and if you eat it all, you get a free shirt.

I'm a Mexican nut so always on the lookout. Found myself nearby and decided to try for lunch. Excellent selection & great service even though the place was packed. I'll go back.
