Had a very early reservation (8 of us) prior to a lecture. 1/2 of the drinks were served after the meal had been served. Entrees were served at different times. Entrees ordered were incorrect (however corrected later), had to search out utensils and were told after we ordered and received our drinks that our drink item was not on the... More

We dine in Greensboro a few times a year before we go to a lecture series at the Greensboro Coliseum. We choose carefully, as we enjoy a nice meal. Greensboro has some wonderful restaurants. To a person, we were all disappointed with Liberty Oak. It was half price martini night, so several of us ordered off of their martini menu,... More

Our group told management more than a week in advance they would have more than 30 of us in our group arriving. They even provided a special menu to limit our choices so they could accommodate us. But they did not increase staff to help. For 3 tables, dishes were served without any kind of organization - one person would... More

We came for an early large group dinner with a person with a disability and the staff were able to accommodate us quite well. The vegetarians had a wonderful risotto option, and I, who don't do dairy or gluten, found a delicious fish and vegetable entree. I would definitely eat here again!

Stopped in for dinner last night while in the area for a wedding and we were very happy with our choice. We tried the chef special raviolis which were great. The rest of our meals we delicious and great presentation. The wait staff was superb. Definitely recommend if you are in the area.

First impression as you walk in, nice ambiance - old, historic bar. Take a look at the menu and you'll see tricked up dishes with goofy toppings and bazar sauces. Order a New York strip; it will come layered over sweat potato, stacked asparagus and béarnaise sauce, stupid and not good - Order that same dish in any large metropolitan... More

Went here for business on a Friday night. It can be difficult to provide good service to a large group (10+), but our waitress had a smile and joke to accompany the water glasses and dishes she delivered. Food winners included the sun-dried tomato hummus appetizer with olive tapenade, spinach-artichoke dip appetizer, entree dishes of seared ahi tuna with asparagus... More

We had a party of eight people, but no trouble with calling shortly in advance on a weekday and securing a couple of tables. We were pleasantly greeted and at all times had excellent attention by our waiter. I polled the entire group to get a rating of the food, and though everyone felt it was good, it did not... More

I dined here on business in early December. Our reservations were not on file, but the hostess politely and promptly seated us anyway. The waitress provided excellent service. She recommended the sweet potato ginger soup, and I am so glad I took her advice - delectable. I enjoyed the calamari appetizer, as well. My only complaint is that the crab... More

I've eaten at Liberty Oak for Brunch, Lunch, and Dinner, and I've had by far the best experiences at Dinner. The fried chicken dinner is really something special. A week and a half ago I had lunch and chose the fresh fruit as my side. The really bizarre thing was how the cantaloupe and pineapple were presented, with the skin... More
