Oh my gosh, within a six month window, we have driven twice from our home, to this restaurant 2hrs away for breakfast. The first visit was on a Sunday when we tried to meet relatives for brunch and somewhere between our two homes. One home...More

Visiting from the west coast I was hoping for some tasty home cooked southern food but was disappointed. I'd wager the country fried steak was frozen and the gravy was a premade mix. Homefries and biscuit were good. Service was lukewarm.

Eating here is OK. Tried their chicken fried steak. Pay at the cashier when finished. Parking lot is at their side.

I had been told about Smith Street Diner before visiting Greensboro and I think what sold me on this spot was their advertisement that they served biscuits the size of a cats head. And I can now verify that fact. But it wasn't just the...More

This bustling little diner takes breakfast to a higher level by offering better quality food than an average diner. Whether you want a traditional Southern breakfast, Mexican eggs, or a bagel with salmon, there is something for all tastes. The home fries are nicely browned,...More
