Our family was looking around downtown and were out front Zaytoon. The owner came out front to see if we had questions and brought sample of the homemade hibiscus juice. I have eaten Mediterranean before but the rest of the family have not. The food was amazing!!! My family loved it!! If I'm even in Greensboro again I will definitely... More

This place is awesome. Be sure to try the lemonade made with orange water, the hummus, apricots with goat cheese, baklava and taboeleh. I always grab some to go before heading back out of town. A must eat at!

I love this restaurant, it is fresh and delicious food that is always prepared quickly. A great lunch spot, just a tad pricey. I would recommend the Chicken Souvlaki which has slices of marinated grilled chicken, lettuce, tomato, raw onion and tzatziki (cucumber sauce) on a warm pita. Always a good choice!

I didn't have any difficulty locating the restaurant because I could smell the delicious food cooking from outside the building. The falafel was fast, healthy, and delicious, served with a side salad. I look forward to returning for lunch again. Agree that dinner hours would be awesome as there are limited dining opportunities in the area.

This place is a hidden gem in town. I love love the mujadara (rice and lentil dish). My husband orders the same thing but adds chicken. It comes with a salad and an awesome yogurt dip. A perfect entree. And the falafels are the best. Period. My husband and I share it as an appetizer.

Zaytoon is a hidden gem of a restaurant. The food is consistently good coupled with very reasonable prices. The owner puts a special emphasis on using only healthy ingredients. The cuisine is primarily Middle Eastern (the owner is from Palestine), but the hamburger is one of the best in the city. Go figure. There is also a daily special which... More

Been everywhere in Greensboro for falafel sandwich and this is where to get in. The Mojadara rocks (sub falafel for chicken). Actually I have not been disappointed with anything. Fun atmosphere (the back room is real nice) and the staff is great!

Zaytoon's is a fast, convenient lunchtime restaurant with good food and fair prices. The food is always good, but also made without hormones, etc. The staff is wonderfully friendly. And, most importantly, everything prepared there is tasty and fun to eat.

I've eaten at Zaytoon at least a hundred times in the past two years. The food is super-fresh (veggies are sourced at local farmers' markets in season--when tomatoes are in season, order dishes that include them and enjoy!!), the meat is chemical-free, there are vegetarian and vegan options, and the prices are good. Get there before 1:00 p.m. if you... More
