Stopped for lunch whilst on a short visit to kep. Portions are massive -the large sized crab with coconut served 3 of us! The crab was delicious and fresh and a vegetarian dish of potato and cauliflower also a winner. Beer is cheap at $1 a bottle. The crab was very messy and my only complaint was that no wet... More

The Amok prawn curry is the best I have ever tasted. There are a few restaurant along the strip ranging from excellent to awful. The best 2 are Kimley and the holy crab. There are a couple in the middle of the strip that are good for drinks but the ones closest to the crab market are poor and not... More

Popular place to visit for fresh crab with kampot pepper. Be prepared to get your hands dirty, but it's worth the mess and the effort. It seemed to be popular with tour groups, so try to get your order in ahead of them!

Kimly is a must stop for the Green Kampot Pepper Fried Crab. It is the most popular restaurant on the Crab Market. It has wood carvings for sale in the front and large busy dining room facing the ocean in the back. You start off your meal with free peanuts and the scotch special cocktails here are very tasty and... More

We went there twice for dinner. The first time we ordered the green pepper crab and then fried rice with squid and shrimps and it was quite tasty. Everything was ready very quickly. But the second time time we were a bit disappointed. We ordered first cocktails and waited before ordering food so we could first enjoy the drink. Cocktails... More

Came here yesterday for lunch - got last table out by sea front - had 4 different dishes - crab with pepper tasty but messy to eat - soft shells - you need to get your fingers stuck in! The Calamari was huge and the pepper dips were delicious- the deep fried prawns the best

Kimly is the retaurant of the Crab Market. It is the most popular and we went back 3 times. It is a family restaurant, but the crab, the prawns, the calamar are fresh from the market. It is a local restaurant and they also sell wine and wooden gifts.

Kep is known for its crab and this place probably offers it cooked the best! So crab with fresh peppercorns and coconut prawn curry amazing! When you get bored of the western food in kampot get a TukTuk here for lunch!
