Best Hibachi in the area. Always a top pick for special occasions. Food is best, chefs are lively and funny, and quite skilled.

This was a first time visit with another couple. We had a very good experience. Good service and good food. 3 of us had sushi while 1 had hibachi steak and shrimp. The fish was very fresh and rice was perfect. Tasty sauces. I will come back to try additional entrees and rolls.
Love the sushi, pork dumplings, and the cucumber salad. Fried rice was bland. Female servers are much friendlier. First time we have had male waiters here.
My son, aged 7, was in desperate need of sushi ;-) So we stopped by this place. It is very dark from the outside and I noticed a few places like this around, just with the open neon sign lit on. I find this really not inviting for a restaurant. The reviews didn't seem too bad so off we went.... More
Our family loves Shan Kishi. We celebrate most special occasions here. We always do the hibachi and are never disappointed. Food is good and the chefs are excellent as well. Price is fairly typical for hibachi restaurants. We never leave hungry and always come back. If you are looking for Japanese food in Gulf Breeze or Pensacola Beach, I definitely... More
My wife and I decided to stop by this place one afternoon for lunch and were pleasantly surprised. The food was absolutely amazing. The sushi was amazing. We want to go back to try the Hibachi bar.
This is where we go whenever we have something to celebrate. The staff is absolutely outstanding, friendly and very knowledgeable. The sushi is the best in the area and the Hibachi never disappoints. Their ginger dressing is out of this world - I always end up getting a pint to go for salads for the week.
We went with a large group (14), and we had to wait a long time to eat. They made us wait for everyone to get there before they seated us (even though the place wasn't busy), and then we sat at the hibachi tables for a very long time before they took our order and got things rolling. The entertainment... More
Sitting at the sushi bar watching these pros make us roll after roll. Some of the best quality tuna I've ever had. Cool and slightly dark, the atmosphere is perfect to get out of the sun and fill up on delicious, healthy fare. Good service too. Only drawback ... imitation crabmeat. Pass on anything with that in it, it is... More
Good local place for sushi, and the more celebratory hibachi, if you're so inclined. Nothing elaborate or amazing food-wise. Sushi is just always fresh and prepared properly and hibachi is done well- kids love it. Cant go wrong.
