I ate at Cafe Troia on a Saturday evening. I ordered grilled calimari and crab cakes. Everything was beautifully prepared and presented. The best crab cakes that I have eaten in many years. The calimari was delicious. Extensive well described wine list. Chocolate flan for desert a favorite. Our assigned waiter James was pleasant and very helpful. We all enjoyed... More

We have been to Cafe Troia several times and have always found the food to be exceptional. For starters I had the Calamari Vesuvio. It was a bit chewier than I've had in the past. I should have ordered the Grilled Calamari which is much better. My wife had the Carpaccio which she very much enjoyed. I had the Pappardelle... More

Thank you for your review and feedback! I am so glad you enjoyed the food. We will alert the staff to be more observant and communicative in regards to the bread. While some customers enjoyed the bread (which we bake in house every day) without any accoutrements, some like olive oil and some like butter. The servers will make sure... More

It may not be a totally fair appraisal to review a restaurant on a Valentine's Day evening but Troia's gave us a couple of great surprises a few nights ago. The first was an amazing grilled romaine salad. The romaine head was large and fresh and the grillmarks indicated a careful but complete preparation - the surprise was a rich... More

We have been to this restaurant many times and have never been disappointed. The food, service and servers have always been to notch. Reservations are typically necessary on the weekend evenings as the restaurant can get pretty bus.

A very nice, high quality restaurant hidden on one of Towson's many side streets. The interior setting nice. the food very good, and service was excellent. It is not cheap as this is not a place to get a plate of spaghetti and meatballs. I had the lamb chops which were excellent, very tender and cooked perfectly. My husband had... More
