We arranged for a nanny to look after our kids last night, so that we could get the entire experience at Sarong. We were not disappointed! All of the entree/starters we ordered were so flavoursomee and a perfect way to get your evening started (in particular the snapper civiche and the tuna beatle leaves). So much effort goes into every... More

My partner and I stumbled across this place by mistake after spending a day at potato head and boy are we happy we did! The food was incredible, the cocktails were good (although there menu is not as expansive as potato head) and the views are phenomenal! Nothing quite like eating traditional Indonesian cuisine whilst watching the sun set and... More

Seminyak is a food heaven and Sarong is one of the finest. The setting is lovely, the food is fantastic, and the service was great.

This place is a bit too cool for their own good. If you don't have a reservation they basically send you away. We tried on two occasions, but there is no flexibility unless you want to sit in their depressing outside area which only has a few picnic style tables. We went to Merah Putih close by and their attitude... More

Well again I find myself stuck for words to describe the wonderful experience we had at this establish. To my experience, there is not an Indian restaurant anywhere in Australia that comes within a bulls roar of Sarong. From the decor and atmosphere on arrival, to the welcome, ambiance, service and food, I could not give any negative comments at... More

Well the younger family members did arrange and suggest that the food was as good as it get's .(poor english for myself, get's) Seriously the food and service was excellent. I only have one negative, In-adequate lighting does not sit well with myself and for those of us still adjusting to 'climate difference' a liitle air/cond would be advantageous. Final... More

Every time i travel to Bali i book at Sarong. The food is fantastic with beautiful flavours. Whilst they state they don't accommodate children, there is a childs menu and the staff are always pleasant to them. I recommend you book in advance and when you do, book twice! If you try and book another visit whilst you're there you'll... More

Went here with my wife for my birthday dinner as a treat and was not disappointed. Started with very friendly staff who were extremely polite and helpful. Beautiful setting and a welcoming atmosphere. Pre-dinner cocktails that were reasonably priced and set the night off well. We shared our entrees (pork belly was fantastic). Mains of barramundi and snapper cooked in... More

The food was great. We had white rice and mixed vegetables with chicken and of course the best butter chicken We ever had. And it required a reservation of course.

Sarong is by far my favorite place to eat in Seminyak, and the whole of Bali. The basic concept is asian street or traditional foods, cooked perfectly and served in a 5star environment. Bookings are advised if you wish to sit inside, however I personally prefer the walk in tables situated outside in a slightly more relaxed setting. We have... More
