Our party of 8 went to DC for lunch after worship service and waited for nearly 45 minutes for a table. We watched family after family go in and sit down while we waited for a table. Instead of holding 2 tables together they kept filling them. Eventually, one of our party's member went in and saved to tables for... More

We needed somewhere to eat after an afternoon of exploring Hot Springs. We found Dixie Cafe close to our hotel. The food was good. Our server was very friendly. They have a soda fountain and the milkshakes were great!

First time visit to the area. The waitress was really great. Very attentive and friendly. They have an assortment to pick from. We had Cheeseburgers and they were really good. Nice size and didn't appear to be a frozen pattie. ALSO had the meatloaf dinner. Great Price. It came with two sides. It was good but ask for the sauce... More

Lots of hype about their extensive menu. Food not so hot. My chicken fried steak tasted like it was missing the steak.

I give this place multiply chances and each visit it gets worst. When it first opened it was great!! But now the service as well as the food just awful. Don't know what happened but sure wish they would fix it.

Food is always good, not great. It is very consistently good and there is a nice variety. It is basic home cooking southern food! There was 7 of us and we all enjoyed our meal. Service was average or above and they were very busy. Their banana pudding is very good, it makes the trip worthwhile!! Will certainly return for... More

Had lunch here. It was a cute little diner. The food was just ok. Not sure we would eat there again.

Being English, my husband and I didn't really know what to expect of Dixie Cafe, but it was pretty good! We are vegetarians and are used to a limited menu but their 5 veg sides for $10 is a great idea! Our waitress (I think her name was Emily) was brilliant, and even gave us extra cornbread rolls to take... More

Ate lunch here and I ordered a la carte, wanting to sample a number of their offerings which seemed local. The chicken and dumplings were very good, the black-eyed pea salad incredible, the large basket of tender rolls and jalapeño corn bread muffins were excellent and I appreciated getting enough butter for everything. I also had green beans which came... More

We visited here for Sunday Lunch. The place was packed, the servers were busy, the kitchen was hustling, and we were served an outstanding meal with great service.
