It was like I stepped back in time... The room is beautiful with white tablecloths and nice heavy utensils. The buffet was sooo good... large shrimp both fried and peel and eat, oysters on the half shell, lox & capers, a variety of nice cheeses, delicious chicken Alfredo, prime rib, crab legs, salmon, delicious fried catfish... crispy outside, tender inside....... The food was great and the service was very prompt. We stopped in here for a quick bite to eat for lunch and once we were seated we realized it was buffet. Needless to say I wished I wouldn't have made the last trip to the dessert bar! I was in dire need for a wheel chair, I ate way... More

The Sunday breakfast brunch is delicious! The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The piano player was very good and played the happy Birthday song for me, per my husbands request.

This is a beautiful room (in a beautiful hotel), despite it needing some serious restoration. It’s worth the trip just to wander in and look around. I ordered the Chicken Orloff with asparagus and it was delightful. The children had your typical children’s fare, but my youngest loves “grand old hotels” and was pleased as punch just to be there.... More

We ate a Saturday Night Prime Rib Buffet. Seeing positive some positive comments about the Sunday brunch on here, we figured we'd try it out. Wow - WAY Overpriced!! We paid $25/person. They used one small table set up - we thought it was utilizing all of the chafing dishes that were out there, but it was only one area.... More

Stopped in for the new years day breakfast buffet. Neat old world atmosphere but a little run down . The food was ok but nothing special. Way over priced ! Not likely to be back .

We ate at the Friday night Seafood Buffet at The Arlington based on reviews here on Trip Advisor. While reviews on the the regular menu were mixed, most that I read about the seafood buffet, were excellent, so we gave it a shot. I should preface this by saying that we are in no way, food snobs. Not even close.... More

The food was top notch! The staff was in a rush and made me feel like I had to eat in a hurry so I didn't get to savor my meal. It was delightful. The room was so dark we joked about it. I'm all for ambiance but it's nice to be able to see across the table! LOL Hot... More

I LOVE the Arlington and it's well-deserved place in history. The beauty of this historic hotel and it's grounds is worth seeing, even though it shows it's age, has a musty odor, and requires repairs. Thankfully, the Arlington still claims it's place in history and stands as a living testament of BEAUTIFUL architectural craftsmanship that scant few craftsmen would even... More
