We love to try to catch lunch or dinners here. They do a great business, so at times you may have to wait for a table, but it's worth it. We recommend the Bulgogi, like usual, the pork is a bit spicier than the beef, but it's very, very good. The kimchi is fresh and amazing! (typically 3 varieties) Best... More

The place was completely packed and the owners seated us very rudely before ignoring us completely until we called them over. There was no checking up, refilling of water, or refilling of side dishes even though the woman clearly saw that we were out of the mediocre amount they had given us. When we went to pay, we didn't tip... More

This is a place where local and visiting Koreans go to eat. You know it's good when other ethnic people also eat there as well...Chinese, Vietnamese, Filipinos, etc.

We have eaten at this little bistro many times over the years. The food is genuine, well prepared and tasty. The decor is no frills and the prices are quite modest. An excellent place for those who like Korean dishes.

Food was okay. Used to be very good but their tastes have really died down. Used to be a go-to place for korean food but not anymore. Service is bad. Server always gives you a bad attitude if you dont tip well and i have seen him argue with customers about the amount of tip.

We were delighted at the authentic Korean fare in this tiny little restaurant. We've had JapChae, Bulgogi, Kimbop, Tukbokgi, Bibimbop, Beef Jungol and everything was great. I have also done Kimbop as carryout and the Beef Jungol as carry out and they were just as wonderful that way. The restaurant isn't fancy but the food is outstanding.

I went down to New Seoul over the weekend. This was the very first Korean place I have ever been to. I had the deep fried chicken. It was one of the very best I have ever had. The service was very prompt too. The one complaint that I have is the place was a bit small. So there is... More

Wife and I have been looking for a really good Korean place. This place moved last year? and after a bad experience from our last visit thought we'd try again at the new place. Location is small, not a lot of furnishings but I didn't go for that, just good food. I had the bulgogi, not as I remembered but... More

We were over in this part of town, to pick up some books from the library. Stopped in for a bite to eat. What a great find. Our meal was great. The ingredients were fresh so it was a good meal. Plus a great value for the amount of food we got. The potatoes and kamchi came free.

For me, New Seoul has one purpose - to warm my soul on a freezing, winter day or when I'm feeling sick. Gal bi tang hits that spot. I look forward to winter just to eat it. Partner says chicken bokum is okay. I found the bibimbop to be disappointing due to bland flavor and mostly white rice. Korean beers... More
