There was a nice selection of wines and it is just off of Bourbon street, but the staff was not very attentive or friendly. I would not go back.

A Wednesday night got seated immediately. Bella was our waitress. Sweet and attentive. Food was hot, fresh and scrumptious. I had a glass of Earthquake wine. I even bought a whole bottle to bring home 😊😊😊

Easy walking location in the French Quarter. Interesting historic building. All menu items were good. Good beverage selection. Tip Try to sit in the courtyard in the back.

Great wine list. Great snack place ( and even simple dinner food ). Other than the O bar in the Bourbon Orleans it is really really hard to find a quality walk in bar / restaurant on or very near Bourbon Street. This is it.

We stumbled on Grapevine when we were in New Orleans we were killing time before our dinner reservation. They have a fairly extensive wine selection and offer flights for sampling. So the first time we were there it was just for wine. Yes we went back the next day and had dinner there and the food did not disappoint. What... More

We had the scallop appetizer - excellent, the gulf fish entree and the filet entree. The entrees were good, a little different. The bread with parmesean-paprika butter was great. Romantic little courtyard out back, got there for happy hour when they serve bacon with your drinks. Kinda quirky and fun. Waitress was great.

We were fortunate enough to stumble into this place for dinner. Not only was the food fantastic, (lamb chops and crab cakes) the service was also fantastic. It was so good that we are definitely going back before we leave.

Had great meals and drink just accross the street from the Orleans. Do not miss the bred and the fish dishes. Everything is great at this place to eat.

We had a fun date night at Orleans Grapevine. The staff is very helpful! The decor is really nice. They have a self playing piano which was really cool. They serve bacon with your wine. We had 2 of the red wine flights that allowed us to try several different types of wine. All of the wine we sampled was... More

This beautiful two-story building was erected in 1809 by Antoine Angué where he opened the Vieux Carré’s first Creole Bistro called, The Restaurant d’Orleans. Today, the property is owned by the noted local business team of Pam Fortner and Earl Bernhardt. Lovingly renovated with its prestigious past in mind, The Orleans Grapevine continues the tradition by offering discriminating diners the best in fine dining and an extensive wine list in a beautiful, intimate yet relaxed atmosphere. We feature many unique and seasonal special dishes & specials.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
