Initially I came by myself on Sunday March 4 just before 5pm. A locsl recommended this place. My husband wasnt feeling well so I went alone. I was told there was no place for a single person. But "luckily" I got seated out on the...More

We are sorry your solo dining experience was unsatisfactory. Since we are a small bistro with limited seating, we designed our big oval bar with single dinners in mind. Being across the street from a major hotel, we get many business people that travel alone...More

Heard about this Happy Hour from a (local) friend. We sat at a table on the street and enjoyed the sounds, sights, and sometimes smells of the French Quarter. Excellent prices on the house wines and yummy bacon to help soak up the wine. Bacon...More

Been here many times, but never had the misfortune of sitting in the courtyard with table full of smokers. As small as the courtyard is you would think they would not allow smoking. If someone wants to smoke they should allow them to sit outside...More

The smoking ordnance in New Orleans says no smoking inside, but smokers can smoke in open air areas. Sometimes, the law does not suit everyone, but we have to follow it. Next time you visit and there are people smoking in the courtyard, ask your...More

This review just sounds like you were looking to complain about something. All tables inside our restaurant are the same size. You made it sound like the hostess would not give them a larger table but the hostess was trying to convey that there was...More

We loved the spot! Quiet and happy hour price on wine! The baked Brie with honey was terrific and the bar staff very friendly and knew the area well.

We are so glad you enjoyed your meal overall expect for the vegetables that were not to your liking. We recently purchased a high quality vegetable steamer which captures all our vegetables off the vine goodness combined with the seasoning plan we have come up...More

Great food. Great find through tripadvisor, especially given it is close from bourbon street and it’s low quality. We couldn’t get in the patio, which would have made the experience even better.

A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living
lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty

This beautiful two-story building was erected in 1809 by Antoine Angué where he opened the Vieux Carré’s first Creole Bistro called, The Restaurant d’Orleans. Today, the property is owned by the noted local business team of Pam Fortner and Earl Bernhardt. Lovingly renovated with its prestigious past in mind, The Orleans Grapevine continues the tradition by offering discriminating diners the best in fine dining and an extensive wine list in a beautiful, intimate yet relaxed atmosphere. We feature many unique and seasonal special dishes & specials.
