All I can say is absolutely amazing. MUST go there. CASH ONLY. IT was great because it was COLD in New Orleans and the hot chocolate hit the spot. It was great. This is a must stop.
After all I’d read about this place was slightly disappointed. Too many people! Lucky not to have waited in line to get a table, as we found one immediately. Don’t forget to eat the bignets
Family of 4 (kids 11 & 13), and we opted for the take-out line (which is behind the building) and then we went & ate our beignets (powdered doughnuts) on the riverfront. They were warm & yummy.

The place is packed and not very clean and it takes effort to find a table. But the beniets are great and the coffee hot. A true New Orleans stable.
