Must visit for a cafe au lait and yummy, hot beignets. Sat outside and enjoyed people watching while eating.

A must stop when visiting NOLA. The waitress was very slow in bringing our order. The delicious beignets and coffee were a tasty treat. A man played the saxophone which was enjoyable to listen while people watching.

The little cafe is self-serve, but the same great food as the restaurant. No waiting today! We only asked for one order of biegnets for three of us. Quickly reordered another!

Stopped in for coffee and beignets one cool, crisp, sunny morning. Found a table quickly and placed our order just as fast. The only problem was that our server didn't understand that my guest and I only wanted one order of beignets to share and she brought one order per person. The price is so reasonable and the food so... More

C'mon if you're in New Orleans you have to stop by best place to get beignets and a cafe au lait. There is always a crowd and someone playing great music or performing right outside.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
