This place was highly recommended by local resident. Never had one so we had to try it. Its closely related to a snow cone or a slushy. Basically they are shaved ice with various flavors, but the twist is they are cream! Its certainly worth a try!

Made a point to make sure we visited here. I love shave ice and wanted to compare a snoball to what I've had in Hawaii. What a treat, so worth it!! Delicious and refreshing. Plenty of flavors but my absolute favorite was the cream of coconut.

This was an awesome place that is off the beaten path. Great treat for kids and adults. They have great custom flavored (I had Bananas Foster, it has great!).

If you've never had a snowball go go go. It is not a snow cone it is a dessert using almost snowflake quality ice with a variety of homemade syrups. Some flavors have condensed milk all homemade fantastic!!!! Strawberry shortcake, banana cream.. Even our dogs love the ice. A NOLA locals favorite.

We were visiting family in New Orleans & my boys decided that they wanted a Snoball tour of the city. This was our first stop. Huge selection & reasonable prices.

Snowballs (please, not a snowcone) are definitely a food-group in NOLA. And there's no better place to experience this cuisine than Plum. If you think Commander's or Brennan's is a must-eat, then you better add Plum.

These guys are awesome. They've got their regular locations and they're also at a lot of the local fests. They use a lot of juice with their snowballs and that's what I like. Pricing is comparable to any of the other shops.

Staying in Uptown / Carrollton

Neighbourhood Profile
Uptown / Carrollton
Very much their own self sufficient unit within the greater metro area, Uptown and Carrollton tone down the urban edge with a friendly attitude and collegiate feel. Home to Tulane and Loyola Universities, all the students living in the area ensure that Uptown and Carrollton stay youthful, cosmopolitan and vibrantly fun. Two of the liveliest thoroughfares for nightlife and socializing (and yes of course more of the city’s outstandingly good food and live music) are Oak Street and Maple Street. For a truly wild time, the expansive acreage of Audubon Park, with its zoo, golf course, and actual patches of swampy wetlands, means peace and quiet are never too far away.
