We ate at Domenica on our last night in the city, after 4 nights of fine dining and live music, all we wanted was to have dinner at our hotel and make it an early night. Forgetting to make reservations, we had a 30 minute...More

Excellent lunch. The octopus carpaccio was very interesting and we'll done, served with arugula and some citrus. Great starter. The squid ink pasta with blue crab was very, very good. Service was fine and the fresh bread with an infused olive oil very nice. In...More

We were staying at the Roosevelt Hotel. It was convenient and really didn't want to go out. We got it to go. The pizza was fanatic and the staff was friendly and made it easy. Would eat here again.

Everything we had there to eat was wonderful! Half price happy hour pizzas were great because you can try several. We tried three and they were all great. However, I highly recommend the grilled cauliflower appetizer. It was fabulous!

Although you can certainly get some of the best pizza in the city here, there is much more. You can start with an appetizer board of mixed meats and cheeses. This in itself is almost a meal and there is a great selection to choose...More

We ate lunch here one day during our stay and had one of the best pizzas that I've ever eaten. My wife had the Margherita Pizza and I had the Calabrese Pizza. Both of us also had the side salad with homemade vinaigrette dressing. Everything...More

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title
might suggest that this area is all about business and

Description
Domenica is a contemporary and inviting Italian restaurant that creates regional Italian dishes with southern and middle eastern influences. The cuisine combines Chef Alon Shaya's Israeli heritage and love of local ingredients with a menu that reflects his time spent cooking and living in the small towns of northern Italy.
