We expected good service based on previous reviews and we're delighted. The staff are hospitable and careful about details. The setting is elegant, comfortable, and with good views of the street scene. The dishes were well described and artfully presented. The fish was flaky but...More

We wondered what we would find based on he reviews we read. The food was very good, one of our group said the scallops were the best he's had. Lance and Ryan took great care of us--there when needed, but not hovering.

We were a party of seven who unexpectedly found ourselves without a dinner reservation on a Thursday night. Several calls with no success led us to Don, the concierge at The Roosevelt. Don made a phone call and we were heading to Le Foret. A...More

We picked this place because we were starving after a long drive in, it was close by our condo and it was open. My sons were with me, ages 15 and 8, and after seeing how elegant the place looked, I was afraid there would...More

I stumbled on this quiet elegant restaurant trying to avoid the chaos of Bourbon Street. The bar was very nice & bartender very friendly. Food was perfect & overall I was very pleased. Zagat rating.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Le Foret. We felt welcomed as soon as we entered and loved the quiet and sophisticated surroundings. On Camp Street just off Canal, Le Foret is the perfect antidote to the crush, noise and touristy excesses...More

Two because the food was well prepared. The rest was nice young people with no clue about fine dining. Portions were very small. Prices high.Too many other fab places to spend money and have a satisfying experience.

Do not go to this restaurant if you do not have the time to sit back and enjoy. The cocktails are hand crafted and do not come out quickly, but they are good. My favorite was the "Dictator". The atmosphere and service is great and...More

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title
might suggest that this area is all about business and
little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you
away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts
