The food was good. Hamburger very plain and chicken sandwich fun (on a biscuit with cole slaw) but not wow amazing. The decor of the restaurant was 40s ish and fun, including big band music.

Very convenient location right on the WW2 campus. Well made & delicious lunch in generous portions. My husband had the Overlord Old Fashioned, which he claimed to be 'outstanding'. My daughter claimed the 'shrimp poboy' was the best one in NOLA that she had tried....More

Brought grandchild with us , age five months. Baby was welcome. Fifteen minute wait to be seated. Food nice. Crabmeat salad, po-boy, French toast, Bloody Mary with ham sandwich on top. Service was attentive. Enjoyable time.

The American Sector is comfort type food, its good, but there are a lot better options around the warehouse district area.

We hadn't originally planned on eating here, but it was surprisingly good. Anyone used to a museum cafeteria has no expectations when trying to get something to eat. However, this was a restaurant and bar that surprised me to the upside with bar food that...More

I visited here several years ago when John Besh was the proprietor. Then it was fabulous. Now, not so much. You can’t beat the convenience inside the museum, but the soda shop is the better bet. After placing my order, it took 35 minutes for...More

We stopped in for appetizers and a cocktail after touring the museum. The food was excellent and I would go back for dinner or lunch. The bartender was very personable and made our experience fun.

Food was unremarkable and service was terrible. Hostess took our name and walked off and never returned. We walked into the place to be seated by a server. Would not return.

Arts District / Warehouse District
Once a thriving industrial zone, today this district
is home to a buzzing arts scene with an amazing

moved in and set up shop throughout the disused
warehouses for which the area is so well known. Much
of the art you'll come across here is local in scope,
ownership and inspiration. However, among the many old
brick warehouses are modern structures of steel and
