Had been before and it looks they have taken a step back as the new ownership and chef imprint their mark on the menu. Menu aside, they still need to work out some important kinks. After we placed our order we waited quite along time...More

My wife and I were delighted with our dinner experience at this restaurant during our visit to New Orleans. Prompt service and exceptional food. They offer a special bread-pudding type of dessert with a very wonderful sauce on it that might be the best thing...More

With the explosion of restaurants in NOLA in the last couple of years, my “Restaurants I Love and Those I Want to Try” Pinterest board keeps getting larger. Tomas Bistro has been on my radar from the start, so one weekend in January when the...More

All the food was excellent from the appetizers to the main course to dessert. And the manhattan was just as good so it was an overall excellent meal with excellent service. Nice place as well - great atmosphere for a nice dinner with friends.

We were taken to Tomas Bistro for a business dinner. What a wonderful, traditional dining experience just outside the FRench Quarter. The oyster appetizers were delicious, as was the Veal Oscar. Save room for the ice cream dessert!

My cousin was married here and after the ceremony, the chairs were taken down and the entire place held the reception. The food was perfect, from the oysters on the shell, to the seafood pasta and the beef tenderloin, we couldn't decide what was the...More

We happened to walk into this restaurant and enjoyed our stay. The title says it all. The waiter was extremely friendly and helpful. If the steak (special of the day) were better (I'd give the dish a grade of C), the whole evening would have...More

We originally went to another restaurant that had a two-hour wait. The maitre d' suggested Tomas Bistro after he heard we'd just arrived in town and were ravenous. He graciously suggested this restaurant, Tomas Bistro. For appetizers, we had the goat cheese and crawfish crêpes,...More

Charming restaurant in the Warehouse District. Food was excellent and also the service was great. Prices a little steep but that is par for NOLA. Would return for sure.

My wife is Celiac and I am lactose intolerant... they accommodated us on our orders.... worth every penny of the cost.... pleasant atmosphere, attentive staff. All 6 of us raved with our orders.

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title
might suggest that this area is all about business and
little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you
away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts

It is probably a 15 minute walk. You can also take the small train that runs along the river from the cafe du monde and get off by the cruise ship dock. Only a couple blocks from there. Maybe a 5 minute cab ride if you... More

Like most places in New Orleans it's casual. I'd suggest nice casual but I'm sure you'll see people in jeans.
