We walked almost a mile here to eat lunch. My mom and sister went to sit down while I ordered our food. The cashier stopped taking orders and came out from around the corner to tell my sister that she couldn't "hold" a table (I...More

Walked from our hotel (at arrival) to St. James Cheese Company for Lunch. The sandwiches and cheese plates were excellent. Casual atmosphere so can go anytime while touring. Open during the day versus some of the other restaurants that are open at lunch only for...More

My husband and I were wandering around the area and decided to stop in for a snack. We had a nice selection of cheese and some wine. The staff when we were there didn't seem to know very much about the cheeses and didn't provide...More

We stopped by for an evening cheese plate and were incredibly pleased! We ordered a pick 5 platter including 1 meat and 4 cheeses. We were able to customize by requesting no bleu or sticky cheeses. What we got was a perfect sampling of cheese.

Who doesn't love an awesome sandwich for lunch? There weren't a lot of choices, but what they had was great. We all found something that sounded good and ordered. The portions were generous and we all left stuffed and happy.

This was a wonderful little place slightly off the beaten path and well worth the trip. We got the cheese and meat platter which came with bread. We loved the assortment they provided for us. But the most amazing thing was the Mac-n-cheese with prosciutto...More

You will definitely want to have a meal at this place! Everything we ordered was amazing. The green gumbo, Chanal salad, and the cheese/charcuterie were so fresh and delicious.

My friend found this place on the internet, so we decided to try it out while we were visiting New Orleans. It was the best ham and cheese sandwich I've ever had. Prices are reasonable (about the same as Panera), but food & cheese was...More

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title
might suggest that this area is all about business and
little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you
away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts
