Best restaurant ever! Such good food. Different options than any other restaurant in the area. The server was very helpful in explaining menu items to us. More on the expensive side but worth it. Near the WWII museum. We got there early on a Friday...More

There was a bartenders convention in town and this place was jumpin'! We chose to eat smaller portions and the options were very unique. We made reservations a week ahead but had we known about the large, noisy groups, we'd have tried a different restaurant.

The Food was great. My wife ordered the pork jaw and shrimp/eggplant dressing. The dressing was wonderfully spicy and the pork was very tender. I ordered the alligator small plate and a bowl of gumbo. I must say it was the best gumbo I have...More

Very nice quick escape from the overblown French Quarter. Short walk to 930 Tchoupitoulas Street. Start with the roasted oysters, delicious very different variation than the traditional Louisiana roasted oysters. Shrimp dish nicely down although not extraordinary. For a nice twist try the fried Chicken...More

Located in New Orleans' Warehouse/Arts district, Cochon is a very popular dining location for locals. They do not take reservations and they fill quickly. But if you are up eating early you are in for a treat. Our dinner began with a delicious mushroom soup...More

This was an amazing experience. Great service, amazing bourbon and sensational food. We followed the recommendations of the waitress and was not disappointed. Everything was well priced and exceed our expectations. Can't wait to return.

During Hurricane Irma, our family escaped Florida to New Orleans and we had the chance to eat dinner at “Cochon”, which was absolutely fantastic!!!! Having gone to college in New Orleans, I am very familiar with Cajun cuisine and although I have been fortunate enough...More

It just feels right when you walk into a place that feels sure of itself. No pretension, no silliness, just genuine attention to all those details that make a place work and give it unique identity. Cochon is that, and more. My wife and I...More

The atmosphere and service at Cochon was great. Everyone was very helpful and the restaurant had a great vibe and was very clean. I was disappointed in my food. The meat pie to start the meal was good, and the fried alligator was great. But...More

Arts District / Warehouse District
Once a thriving industrial zone, today this district
is home to a buzzing arts scene with an amazing
assortment of galleries, boutiques, and studios having
moved in and set up shop throughout the disused
warehouses for which the area is so well known. Much
of the art you'll come across here is local in scope,
ownership and inspiration. However, among the many old
brick warehouses are modern structures of steel and

It's always busy because the food quality is so good. It's not a big place so I would book to be on the safe side.

I don't think that you'll need it. I don't remember that the on- street parking was crowded. The restaurant is easily walkable from downtown hotels. And the food is so good, walking off the calories is a good idea!
