This place is more upscale than the butcher next door. We had good service from the staff. They have an awesome and local craft drink selection that I recommend highly. The menu is great Southern favorites that my wife and I grew up with and...More

Great gem in New Orleans. Great atmosphere, great wine, great staff and they do have more than pork. The redfish is outstanding and the creamy grits are over the top. Don't miss going here.

I read excellent reviews about this place and wanted to try it. It was really good. Located about a 1.5 miles west of the French Quarter, it is a modern style restaurant serving contemporary/modern/Gourmet style Cajun/Creole food. For Saturday dinner it was really packed, so...More

All in all, the food was tasty but very spicy. We tried the Cochon, the catfish and the beef. All had good flavor, but were overwhelmed by the cayenne pepper. Our server also seemed to be having a bad day. She was not friendly or...More

I dined here during a work trip and this was a great meal! The cocktails were amazing! The hurricanes had actual rum in them unlike all the processed and cheesy drinks that are found else where in the city. For dinner I had the Rabbit...More

After going to Cochon Butcher and having an amazing experience, we knew we had to check out Cochon. My husband and I went for our last dinner out in New Orleans and absolutely loved it! We ordered the wood-fired oysters, crawfish pie, smoked beef brisket,...More

I like Spicy but don't LOVE spicy. If you do please go to this place for dinner. I enjoyed the Grilled oysters and the mac & cheese. We travel as a large family and the kids 8 yrs old, could not finish their food. Beautiful,...More

Prelude- Hit the neighboring Cochon Butcher for casual lunch, very impressed. That night I called for reservations at a very famous chef's restaurant, told I wouldn't need reservations. Get there and I'm told I can sit at the bar. First strike. Look at the menu...More

We visited with 12 family members of all ages. The staff were great, and very accommodating of our group. The drinks were delicious. I especially enjoyed the "porch swing." We had the boudin balls, the gumbo, the crawfish pie, the alligator bites, and the boucherie...More

Here through serendipity by my girlfriend. Without a doubt my best meal in NOLA. Liver on toast, rabbit stew & pineapple and ice cream. COME ON MAAAN! Perfect.

Arts District / Warehouse District
Once a thriving industrial zone, today this district
is home to a buzzing arts scene with an amazing
assortment of galleries, boutiques, and studios having
moved in and set up shop throughout the disused
warehouses for which the area is so well known. Much
of the art you'll come across here is local in scope,
ownership and inspiration. However, among the many old
brick warehouses are modern structures of steel and

I don't think that you'll need it. I don't remember that the on- street parking was crowded. The restaurant is easily walkable from downtown hotels. And the food is so good, walking off the calories is a good idea!
