Visited 2 times during my 5 days in NOLA. Very good beer selection. There’s a beer room in the back of the deli. Some of the beers are in cold. Very friendly service. When it’s crowded you might have to wait a while to be...More

We got off the trolley for lunch at Stein's. It was a quaint delicatessen. The sandwiches were superb. We shared a muffaletta. It was more than enough for two people. The place has limited indoor seating but have picnic tables outside. We ate outside and...More

Stopped in here before a walking tour of the Garden District and had a great sandwich, with some authentic corned beef and rye bread. It's not as fast an experience as up north, but the food was worth the wait.

We stopped by Stein's for some morning bagel sandwiches and were not disappointed. This place screams New York from the atmosphere to the delicious sandwiches. I would definitely recommend for a quick breakfast or lunch!

This is a good basic deli, like you would find in the northeast. New Orleans didn't really have one, until Steins, so they get early adopter points.

I don't get what's so great. Food was ok but way overpriced. Owner looked and acted like an jerk. Not charming or worth the price. Go to Red Dog Diner instead.

Sour tomatoes, check. Lox and bagels, check. Six kinds of root beer, marble rye, tongue sandwich, three kinds of ruggelah, check, check, check, check. Get in line, order at the counter, sit next to a new best friend and enjoy an inexpensive tuna or egg...More

We ended up near here to watch the Irish Channel parade. We didn't know it would be an all day event and enjoyed a few trips into this market. They had a wide range of craft beers in cans at good prices. We also had...More
