Interesting place. Lots of character. Fairly crowded at 10:30 am. I ordered a muffaletta. Big disappointment. I don't know what their other sandwiches are like, but they should take this off the menu. Nothing tasty about the bread, relish, or meat. (Compare to Central Grocery's)....More

It was a really fun environment, in a crazy sort of way. Lots of people, fun decor. The Hirsch was meh, and the Italian was good. Filling, but not really worth the cost.

An authentic Jewish deli market in the heart of New Orleans! Order fabulous muffellatta sandwich and enjoy at the table near the deli counter. The bread and meat is super fresh and just like the muffellatta I remember from years ago in Louisiana! The olive...More

Great great authentic deli that makes sandwiches! Their sandwiches are awesome! The mumbler (i think it's the name, it's the last one on the menu) is so good. It has prosciutto, this strong cheese, arugla, and aged balsamic spread. Mmmmmmmmm..... They do sell a large...More

The Rachel. Heaven on marble rye. Pastrami goodness that can't be beat. A traditional Jewish deli in the heart of the garden district. No matter where you come from, it's worth the drive, walk, or swim to get here!
